I had a chinese gas grill before this. I truly wasted my money on the chinese grill. It rusted out in 2 years. The wheels fell off each time I moved it. The grease collected on a flat surface so grease fires did more cooking than the propane. 3 out of 4 burners quit after 2 years. It looked and worked horrible. The Weber is high grade stainless and heavy thick cast aluminum. The steel is heavy gauge with a good paint job and the grill lid itself is porcelin. I cook steak alot in the winter. It kept a constant temp of 550 degrees with me opening and closing the lid in 30 degree weather. There are not any hot or cold spots. It cooks perfectly. I am not easy to please but this grill thrills me every time I use it. On top of all the good qualities it has it is also made in the USA. It costs more than the others but it's worth more than it costs. Most others are worthless.

Nice heavy grill

The box this came in is huge, be sure you have a large vehicle to transport this in. Site to store took a little long, 2 weeks, but other than that is very convenient.
Only took about an hour or so to put together, follow the instructions and it is pretty painless. Some parts didn't fit exactly, but worked with a little "nudging". The left "shelf" was crushed when we opened the box, no outside damage so it looks like it was done prior to shipping. Called Weber and a new one is on the way. Good service.
Grill gets hot quick, and after using, would have to say it is worth the money. Kind of pricey, but I think you get what you pay for. Satisfied with purchase so far.

Fantastic grill that is well made and easy to assemble. Had mine together in about two hours. Good thing about putting the grill together yourself is you get real acquainted with grill and see first hand the quality materials and construction. I have used it twice now, and I am really impressed with the way it cooks evenly across the entire surface. Grill design allows you to cook both directly and indirectly.
