The prongs holding the stone are high and snag on everything . The stone has fallen out twice .Two prongs have broken off and my husband super-glued the stone on it for me. I've had it a year and trouble started form the time I put it on. I wear it daily. Not at all happy with this purchase.

I absolutly love this ring. Opals have always been my favorite. My boyfriend gave it to me as a promise ring for my birthday. I love the colors the opal shows in the light. The pastels are just breathtaking. I always wear it and never take it off. It also a pretty strong stone. Because it hasnt broken yet. Afterall arent opals supposed to be the most fragile gems? I think not, with this ring :) this ring is a sure way to win a girls heart.

My boyfriend got me this ring as a promise ring because I love opals. I have never gotten so many compliments on a piece of jewlery before! It has an antique-y feel to it. I also do not like yellow gold but I have a few pieces that people have gotten me over the years so this ring is great because it can incorporate other silver or gold jewlery. You really cannot beat it for the price.
