The Tour De France Stage One Yellow Jersey Road Bicycle is a combination of a classic road bike and modern technology. It has a stunning look and features 16-speed gearing allowing you to race at a top speed. This 16-speed road bike is very well-built and the seat is made of steel-rail road saddle. The bicycle consists of front and rear caliper brakes that stop the 51cm road bike instantly when you push the brakes. You will be looking like the leader when you cruise by on this yellow jersey bike, a collaboration of old and new.

After 3 weeks and 74 miles later, here is what I think. Good looking bike and easy to put together. Just read instructions and take your time. After putting 74 miles on it I find the seat to be hard and uncomforatble. (had to puchase a Bell seat from walmart) Rear deraillour is noisy usually making a low rumble sound on any gear. When changing gears at crank (pedal), often the chain does not engage going from small to higher sprokt size and I've had to stop and manually engae the chain on the correct sproket size. NOT recommend it. Price is fair but you may want to try something better.

Unfortunately I thought the bike would be the same quality as the Schwinn Varsity we purchased from the store if not better. I cost almost a $100 more but the bike is junk. I will return it and try too find a store that has the Schwinn. Don't buy theses bikes you will be completely dissatisfied and mad to have to do the return! Hope this helps out. Good Riding!

Excellant buy for low end bike
Posted 08/06/2012
After years of riding Trek and Fuji bikes averaging about 800.00 a piece I tried a low end bike . This bike rides excellant shifts smoothly and feels great and looks good. The problem most people have purchasing a bike like this is they assemble it and dont know how to adjust anything such as seat height ,adjust fore aft position of seat ,handlebar/stem height or if bike is even the correct size for them. Even if bike is assembled in store thats all there is . It has to be fitted and setup for specific rider. As far as seat its a racing seat and can be uncomfortable if not adjusted correctly. To have some comfort cycling shorts with padded liner helps. Schwinn bikes fall into same category as low end also be careful. If you buy it and are not sure about its setup take it to your local bike shop and have them set it up for you. They will tell you that yoyu can do better but remember they are their to sell their product they carry. Ita a matter of preferance in choosing a bike .
