I purchased two of these TV's for my kids. I did my own research on Sharp TV's and on the Consumer Reports recommended Sharp as one of their top rated brands. They are actually one of the first to start manufacturing LCD TV's, so they know what their doing. Another review I read was a repair shop that had only received one Sharp TV in a total of 2 years. That should say something right.

I was disappolinted in the picture quality of the Sharp since I have been spoiled by my SONY XBR Bravia. I returned the SHARP and replaced it with another SONY. You get what you pay for and I was not willing to compromise because of the SHARPS lower price. I would recommed the comparable SONY XB42 even though its more expensive

This is my second Sharp Aquos 32" and I have to say, it is the best I've seen at this price. The picture and sound quality are really impressive. I originally bought the RCA 32" and returned because the picture clarity was nowhere near as good as Sharp's.
I love that there are so many HDMI inputs (3 total). My only concern is that sometimes I have to play around with the inputs to get sound once I've connected my laptop to the TV. I had this problem with the old TV too, so pretty sure it's not my mistake.

When I bought this TV I was happy with everything except that sometimes it would take a long time to time on or the lights would indicate the TV was on but it would take twenty seconds or so for picture and sound to show up.
After owning this TV for almost three years the remote sensor has recently went out so I had to use the controls on the top of the TV and those quit working as well. So basically I can turn the TV on and off at the TV without being able to switch input source and only occasionally will it change channels. The lag time is becoming for frequent as well...
I am very disappointed in the fact that I have only owned this TV for a short time. I have two other flat screen TV's that are Phillips and have had no trouble with them or found any lag time when turning on.
While the TV worked I didn't find problems with the picture or sound but i truly expected it to last longer than it did before needed repaired or replaced. Still have not decided if I want to repair this model or just replace it with another brand

Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the picture and the equipment. I was a little disappointed in the sound quality coming from the speakers. The audio may need to be adjusted to improve the sound.

I noticed that the screen seems to have a lot more gloss than my Sony, which means more stuff shows up in the reflection and more clearly, but other than that, the picture quality is good and Sharp is definitely comparable to Sony

This was an outstanding purchase overall, the highest quality of product, the tremendous turnaround regarding purchase and shipping dates and needless to say, I am very pleased with my experience with these activities regarding Walmart. I will definitely use Walmart for future purchases of electronic products.

Great picture for the price. I've had for 2 weeks and I'm very happy with it. No problem with the picture either up close or back far from it. Diffently worth the price, which I found to be cheap for a Sharp TV.

Already had a Sharp Aquos 32" LCD that is 1080p. This tv is 720p but you cannot tell the difference between the two. Bought and returned a 32" Emerson LCD (from same Walmart) because of the really strange manufacturers warranty. One part (parts or labor) was warranted for 90 days and the other part for 1 year. What happens when it goes out a 4 months?. The Sharp has a traditional 1 years parts and labor.

LG is a lot better than Sharp

I had two old box tvs and replaced them with an LG 32" HD TV and the Sharp Aquos 32" HD TV. The LG has a lot more features and a much brighter picture than the Sharp Aquos, and for less money. I adjusted the brightness, etc.on the Sharp and still found that the LG's picture is better. I l LOVE my LG!

Strange color

Purchased this TV as a gift for my father in law and although he has tried, as well as myself, in conjunction with the manual to set up the color, two months later we still cant get it right. This is an HD TV so not sure if that has anything to do with it but I cant see why it should, and the manual says nothing of the sort, but the color is terrible. Just when you think you have got it right, a different picture comes up or program and it needs adjusting again.
I have never had a TV that has color adjustment that is so complicated! If this TV is working as designed, I would not recommend to anyone, if the color is the same on all units. I expected much better clarity and color from Sharp, especially the AQUOS range which has been heavily advertised as being superior.
Waste of money!!

I'm returning my Sharp TV 32" The sound can be on 60 which is high as it will go and you can't hear it 5 feet away. I've had several friends come into my bedroom and listen, thinking it's just me, but they say take it back something is wrong with the sound. The guide is fuzzy, the color adjustment isn't good at all. I'm very dissatisfied, and intend to take it back. I have two other Sharp TV's in my house and they are wondrful, thats why I ordered another one, but this one is terrible.

Actually I was going to buy the ProScan from RCA for my Aunt but she wanted the Sharp. No complaints. Picture and sound are adequate. Set up is simple. I gave it three stars (right down the middle) because her needs are minimal (she doens't even use the tuner except for channel 3) and I haven't watched it, but she's happy so that's all that counts.

Sound quality is ok. Picture is horrible. Fuzzy, green tint no matter how you change contrast etc. The remote is touchy in that you have to hit the buttons 3-4 times before it accepts. Only picture options are Zoom, Stretch and Side Stretch- each one distorting the picture more than the last. This is not a good buy at all, returning for a Vizio.

I cannot believe anybody would find the quality of the picture on this TV acceptable. I have purchased four Sharp TV's and, until now, I swore by them. This unit replaced my original 32" TV that's in my bedroom and gets the most use. When it finally quit, I automatically replaced it with another Sharp. This is the first time, however, I've purchased a TV from Walmart. The picture on this TV is beyond awful and cannot be adjusted to my satisfaction. It's dark, lacking in contrast and clarity. Attempts to adjust it made everything look fake, like bad Photoshopping. This TV is going back to Walmart. Today. I don't know if I no longer trust Sharp or if I no longer trust Walmart.

This TV offers good picture quality as any other TV of the same size at wal-mart, but the pitch of sound is low. If anything is going on in the background, a noisy neighbor or a running blender, you can barely hear the sound from the TV even from 10 feet away.
