Midway came out nearly 30 years ago when I was in the U.S Navy. .. I actually saw it for the first time while I was stationed in the Phillipines. .. An all star cast. ... Just an outstanding motion picture. ... As far as the service at my local Wal-Mart store, I actually had to laugh since the associate wasn't sure what a "midway" was. .. She thought she was looking for a big package such as what a vcr would be packaged in. .. Like I said, I had to lol. .. Other than that the customer service was excellent.

My husband had this on VHS, it was worn out. I was watching it with him, I asked how do you stand watching it " with all its stops and sounds not there? I liiked to find it at the store in Kernersville. Did not have it One of the accosiates reminded me ,I could go in line and have it shiped free of shipping charges. Well that is what I did .. He has watched it over and over again, \. We are both happy.

Being the son of a U.S.Navy pilot that flew Fighters in WWII, I love all the WWII films but this one is my personal favorite because he was in the Asian Theater and my uncle in Europe flying B-17's I grew up with all the stories of both sides of the Great War, I watch this film frequently and remember the ones in my life that have gone on and thank all veterans for the great country that we live in.

This helps me learn how to crack a certain military code and know the enemy's plan. This is the scene when the Pacific Fleet emerged from the Pearl Harbor incident and then surprised the Jap Fleet at Midway in order to go on the offensive.

I enjoy Movies based on fact. "Midway" was based on an actual battle during WWII. The DVD was clear and the colors were sharp. It was full of well known actors. If you like this type of movie I would sugges buying "MidwaY".

This movie is very accurate as to the events that it portrays from historic battles in the pacific during WWII. I really liked this movie because of all of the air to ground and air to air combat sequences and I would recommend this film for any history buff.

This Is a Really Good Movie To Watch If You Like Movies About History. I Bought This Movie On dvd because the dvd has deleted scenes and more about the movie makings and we like to watch those also. we have the movie on vhs and wanted to upgrade seeing as everythings going dvd now. lol
