I bought these for my daughter's room because the sun starts to come up towards her window and she wakes up at 6:45-7am every morning because of it. These curtains say they are 99% light filtering but in all honesty, they are only about 60%. Luckily I have a shade on my window otherwise it would have been even brighter in her room without it!! I think the only way you can filter the light is if you bought their black colored curtains. I looked these up online and saw their pictures of what they say it is supposed to look like when the light comes through and it doesn't match at all. I am returning these today to walmart to get my money back.

i love these curtains they are a little long for the windows that are almost from the ceiling to the floor but they are great quality! my kids love them. It helps to drown out outside noise because their bed is right next to the window and it keeps the room so much cooler!

Review 4 for Eclipse Kids Quinn Energy-Efficient Curtain
I ordered these for my daughters room, the curtains work great for a kids room. Lighter color then the picture shows but I was expecting that after reading other reviews, the purple was def. lavender. I haven't washed them yet since I just put them up but they do block out most of the light. Of course some still gets in on the sides and top but it's to be expected. As for sound, doesn't help or hinder...I live in a quite area..

The only reason I bought these was because it said it blocked 99% light.. Yeah right.. If that is the reason you are buying then I suggest you don't.

Review 6 for Eclipse Kids Quinn Energy-Efficient Curtain
If you really want black out curtains for a child's room do NOT order these curtains. They don't even block 50% of light, it's a joke to claim that these block 99% of light. I am only keeping these because I do like the color and material, and you can't beat the price. I bought a double rod so I plan to get true black out panels to hang behind these. I bought some other black out curtains at Bed Bath and Beyond and they truly block out 99% of light.

WARNING: These curtains DO NOT block out light!!!!

I bought these curtains for my baby's room to block out the light which was waking her up very early in the morning. If you are expecting 99% light reduction as it says on the description, these curtains are not for you. I would say they only block out 50% or less. I purchased the pink curtains. Firstly the pink is much darker than that shown on the website, secondly, instead of making the room dark when the light shines in, it just creates a pink room (and that is with closed blinds behind it), even though the window doesn't get direct sunlight. My baby still wakes up at the crack of dawn! I feel very mislead and disappointed.

Purchased these curtains for our grand daughters room. The curtains look very good. The curtains do reduce heat/cold as well as noise from the windows. I would recommend these curtains to others!

I bought these curtains for my guest bedroom. The color is perfect and makes a striking contrast against the light lavender walls. I tried ironing them right out of the package, but found that the wrinkles didn't come out unless the iron was on it's hottest setting and then it still took a long time. So I put them in a gentle wash cycle in tepid water and dried them in my dryer with minimum heat. They came out perfect and were much easier to iron. The wavy fabric is more interesting and stronger than plain fabric and the rubberized lining definitely helps keep the room warmer. The only imperfection I have found is if you accidentally get a hole in the material it's not easy to repair and if it's in a visible location, you're probably going to see the sun shining through it.

Review 12 for Eclipse Kids Quinn Energy-Efficient Curtain
My nursery feels much warmer and much darker for daytime naps. Slightly brighter than expected, picture looks more pastel than it is in person but just means they will look less 'baby' purple for when my kids get older.

Loved the color and they fit perfect in my 2yr old sons room. I bought them to block out the morning sunlight and they sure did the job. The morning after I set them up, he slept in an hour later :)

I'm glad I finally got these curtains, they not only keep light out in the mornings, but also insulates the window from the cold weather and local freeway noise. Now my daughter sleeps all night. They also look nice in my 2 1/2 year olds room.

I got 4 of these in purple for my slider door, for under $50.00. I am very happy w/ them. The color and texture are very elegant. They wash up nice and they were delivered to my store early. They do block some of the draft....I think the Samara Eclipse panels do better but, they did not have the color I wanted in those so......I got these. I do not know how they are at blocking light but, they are beautiful.

quality was better than I expected and the color was better than in the photo. I was expecting 2 curtains in a package, but there's only one in each package. So if you have an extra wide window, you may need 4 curtains.
