The Perfect Comforter

I loved this comforter set when I saw it online and I loved it even more when I got it. The color in the picture is not the true color. The plum is much more purple, which I actually liked better than the color in the picture. Regardless, it's nicely made of quality material and it's about the warmest comforter I have ever had. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality comforter.

A Bit Too Manly and Busy

When I had ordered this item, the set in the picture looked more red than purple, the colours looked more warm and this is what had encouraged me to order the set. When it had arrived I was a bit put off by the colour; it's dark and manly and if I had seen this on display, I would have looked for something more complimentary to my tastes. It also appears to have more stripes in the pattern than pictured, making it a bit too busy.
As I couldn't be bothered in going through the hassle of the return process, I have decided to keep the set. It doesn't match well with anything in the room. However, I am in the process of updating furniture and planning on painting, so it may work out after all.
Aside from a few pulls and snags present on the comforter upon opening, the chenille material is nice and it's well constructed. It will eventually end up as back up comforter when washing the other or for the guest bedroom.

This comforter is much nicer than I expected to be honest. I bought the gray/black/maroon color and it's gorgeous. It will be even prettier when I add a black bedskirt. The comforter is quite heavy and will probably be too hot for summer. It's a generous size so it covers my thick mattress nicely. I didn't care for the stripes going horizontal, (because the shams are vertical), so turned it so the stripes are also vertical. Looks much better IMO and fits pretty well. (I'm not sure you could do that with a king size but on a queen, it works.) My one concern is that the top piece of the comforter isn't tacked anywhere and I don't know how it will wash. It will probably not fit in my machine anyway. I would have given it 5 stars except for that. Overall, I'm really happy with this set.

I ordered this item and it was at my door in about 2 days it was amazing, it is so beautyful, i was hoping that it would be a little softer but it is really heavy and i like that about it.

I was pleasantly suprised when this arrived. It wasn't stiff and wrinkly like most comforters are when they're new. The stripes are a different texture than the comforter itself and it adds kind of a cool effect to it. If you are considering purchasing this set, I say buy!!

Well this blanket was ordered from the site to store option , recieved was a purple/grey one. not plum or maybe they claim this is plum. it is a bright purple! so I think it is going back. I have the red/ brown one also and it is great ! wonderful blanket and for the price a great deal.

I am so impressed with this product. I purchased mine in store, and the color is a different one, but I love it so much I had to write a review! I have NEVER EVER pulled a comforter out of the package and have it feel as soft and broken in as this one is...I don't think I've ever had a new comforter feel properly broken in after *several* washes. But this one...ahhhhhhh, it's soft, and cozy and squishy and wonderful. And the quality is outstanding too. I can't wait to use it.

Nice heavy comforter for the price. I have the stripes going top to bottom instead of left to right. Makes it nicer for longer legs. Still enough to cover the sides of the mattress. Paired with eggplant/plum colored sateen sheets. Colors matched well.

This comforter has exceeded my expectations. It is a great value for the price. I replaced a comforter that I paid 3 times as much for and am 10 times happier with the product. Comforter is soft and warm. The colors are better than shown in the picture, it almost has a worn look to it rather that a bright vibrant look as shown in the product picture. Washed beautifully. Highly recommend!!!!

I was really nervous about buying this set because I didn't know exactly what colors it was. It is Black, gray, and plum (purple-ish mauve). The picture is EXACTLY what you get. I have not washed it yet so I hope it does well in the washer. *Fingers Crossed* Also, the stripes have a texture to them (feels a bit like corduroy) and are a very nice detail that can't be seen through the picture. Not heavy at all but is very cozy. Doesn't get stuffy on warm nights. HIGHLY recommended.
