This is absolutely essential for new moms. I used it every day. It's the perfect lounger for your new baby and easily portable. I've been to two baby showers since having a baby of my own and it's my number one go to baby shower gift.

The first time I saw The Boppy, I thought, "a pillow made specifically for babies? What a great idea!" So I got one for my newborn grandson. It was very soft and colorful, so it also offered a visual aspect for him as he got older. It's portable, which is very useful. His mom could take it to any room, sit him in it and be freed up to do things.
Now, please be mindful of the fact that we are talking about babies here, so you should not leave them in this unattended. You should use the Boppy while you're in the same room. And it's really designed for a newborn, so once the baby starts to turn over, you may not want to place them in it.
Overall, I think it's a great item. I like The Boppy so much, I'm giving one to a friend at her baby shower. She's having a girl, so this time I ordered the pink one. As a matter of fact, the Boppy is my gift of choice from now on for any of my friends and relatives, who are having babies.

This isn't an item that you HAVE to have, but my baby does enjoy it! She hates laying flat so instead of putting her on a blanket on the ground when we play with her we put her in this so she can sit up a little and interact with us. She is 2.5 months old (and almost 13 pounds) and still fits perfectly in this lounger. It was one of the first things I set her in when I brought her home from the hospital and I will continue using it until she becomes too big for it :)

Great Item for my Granddaughter

This is my first grandchild, and I'm having to learn a lot of new names. Boppy is one of them. They weren't around 28 years ago when my daughter was born.
I purchased the Boppy Lounger at the same time as the Boppy Pillow. I was "advised" that the pillow would be a good gift, the lounger was an after-thought.
Turns out this is the best gift after all though. My granddaughter has a reflux problem and this is a perfect solution for her when she is out of her carrier. It comfortably keeps her at the right angle. Mom says that Grandpa did great, and that is the best praise a guy can get from his daughter.

I really like this Boppy Lounger. My newborn has acid reflux and this helps her rest propped up when I am cooking or eating. I can easily carry it from room to room. It cleans very well and is pretty. It helps her look around and not be lying flat. I am glad I purchased it.

This was by far the best baby gift I recieved. It was fairly new when I was pregnant and my mother in law ordered it online. I use it ALL THE TIME! I have a bouncer and a swing but my baby stays in the pillow more. Its a perfect fit. Some days I can lay her in the pillow beside me on the couch and she is close enough that she does not cry and usually just falls asleep then I can get up and work around the house. If she spits her paci out I can just pop it back in without having to get up and down all the time. I had the regular boppy pillow too but it hurt to use it because I had a c section so I even used this lounger while breastfeeding.

This Boppy pillow was an absolute life saver during our baby's first couple of months after birth. The pillow design is a perfect shape that snuggles all around your newborn to provide support and comfort. This item is 100 times better than a bouncer seat or swing, because you can easily carry it from room to room when you need hands-free moments. I used this while cooking, while folding laundry, for getting ready during feedings, etc. It offers new moms a place to rest your baby during those times when you are alone and trying to tend to something else at the same time(preparing car seat, etc). Our favorite thing about this pillow is the ability for more face to face interaction- I used to lay my little one on it and we would talk and interact and play and sing together- Love it!
