I bought this to cheaply replace my desktop's cd drive and I am deeply regretting it. It doesn't play any CDs or DVDs that take a lot of speed to run (Sims 2, Spore, Madden, etc...) . Furthermore the one game it did play that I wanted to use it for worked great for a couple of weeks and has since stopped working. I suspect that it might be good for reading disks with files, or playing a movie from a DVD. For any other higher demand use I reccomend that you stay away from this one.

I bought a netbook that didn't have a DVD drive and wanted the option of having one. I ordered this and it is so easy to use. Just connect to your computer with the USB cord (included) and you are ready to go. I have already used it to load some games onto my new computer and it worked great! Very lightweight too! I highly reccomend this!
