I ordered this for a stubborn little dog. It took several adjustments but he now is very hesitant to bark every time the doorbell rings. He has learned to make a little sound when he wants to go out but the incessant barking has stopped. I rarely have to put the collar on him now.

I tried a lot of collar and this one is the best. It's rechargeable and you can make a lot of adjustments based on the kind of dog you have. I am a dog trainer, I usually use the Dogtek Sonic on small dog because vibration only collar, on larger dog I will recommend this Pulse collar, you can't go wrong!

The first time I used the DogTek NoBark Pulse Control Collar it did the job. I have not had to use it since then. All I have to do is pick it up & he quites down.

I have a 7 year old West Highland Terrier who loves nothing more than to bark without taking a breath at anything and everything. Westies have a very loud bark and tend to be very stubborn. I have tried many things including a shock collar several years ago, but nothing has worked. Because I am transitioning into a townhome from a single family home this was a problem that needed to be addressed asap. This collar arrived and within ONE DAY, the problem was resolved. I can not believe how responsive he was to it. I put the level at 4 to start and tested him with the two things that drove me crazy, one was the doorbell and the other was using my exercise equipment. He would start his barking and once the collar went off he immediately stopped. So now he only wears the collar when outside or when he is crated while I'm away. His barking is no more a problem. If it worked for Max it will work for any dog with a barking problem. Great product!!!!!! I highly recommend it.

i hated having to resort to a "shock collar" but nothing else was working for one of my dogs. she would whine/bark at every animal she saw on tv and also at the neighbors dogs. i love this collar because the sensitivity as well as the intensity of the shock can be adjusted. if the sensitivity is set to low, it will not shock the dog for whining/growling, and if it's set to high then the dog can't do either. we have the shock set to level 3, out of 7 levels, and she yelps when it shocks her which i hate but i think it's mostly because it startles her. i wouldn't recommend making the intensity of the shock higher than 3 unless it's not effective at all. the warning feature on this is great as well because sometimes she will begin growling and when the warning beeps come on she will leave the living room! definitely worth the money, especially since the batter can be recharged (these batteries alone are at least $10 i believe). we just got this two days ago and when we take it off before bed and an animal comes on tv, she already has way more control over her growling than she did two days ago! we are hoping that we only have to make her wear this for another week, and then we can pass it down to our other two dogs!

It works great on a stubborn miniature poodle. Tried a smaller one, didn't work nearly as well. It is a bit bulky for such a small dog, but it works!

Works great. This bark collar originally stood out for me because of it's rechargeable battery. I cannot stress to you enough that this was one of the best products I ever have bought! On weekends, my wife and I can actually sleep in now without being woken up by our 5 y.o. Dalmatian! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
