Great Socks - Not Just for Men

I bought these socks because I was desperately looking for a pair of black ankle socks in a women's size 11. Unable to find any (at least none that were reasonably priced), I decided to give these a try. I have been wearing them for about 2 weeks now, and I can't complain. While it would have been nice to have socks in a slightly less sporty, thinner, more feminine material, these do the job (they are meant for men, after all). They are very comfortable and seem durable, which is something that I probably could have not expected from most women's ankle socks out there. I recommend.

Very disappointed with the quality of the socks I purchased. 4 out of 5 pairs I wore the first week I had them started to lose elastic from the top inside ankle edge of the socks. When I removed the socks at the end of the day the elastic threads that keep the socks tight around the ankle came loose and were hanging out of the top of the sock. The socks are now loose fitting around my ankle and falling down as I walk.

I LOVE these socks! I have bought them for years for myself. Women's anklet socks are horrible. They don't have enough elasticity and end up wadded underneath your heel. So I bought these to try and do NOT have that problem! Yet, they are not too high on my ankle. I just wish they had the same style in WHITE for summertime!!

I was looking for some socks that I could use strictly for the gym. These fit correctly, but are pretty thin. I can see the outline of each of my toes when they're on. For the time being, they're okay. I just have a feeling that they won't last long.

I purchased the socks at the end of July, 12 pairs for the price seemed like a great buy.
The socks fit good and felt good but not having the heavy toe and heel guard like some brands is a problem.
Six of the twelve pairs developed a hole in the toe area, for this reason I will not purchase again and would not recommend.
Tired of sewing, good luck with your purchase.

I love these Starter socks because they have virtually invisible seems, keep my feet cooler than overly thick socks, are breathable, and look great. It seems nice to get away from the white socks look for a change. I bought 5 pair of these from the store and I wish these where available online for the 10 pair pack.
These are my new favorites. I just wish they would get them in stock online.
