I had this product mainly used for seldom scanning. However, the scanning function broke after 6 months. Also, the product only has 90 days warranty and therefore you paid for want you got.

I have had this printer for over a year and I love it! I am very sad it is not available because I was trying to order another one for my son who is leaving for college. Very dependable and the scanning is great.

Great Scanning Software

My only comparison is an HP All in One. The software for that program was huge and wasn't as easy to use. The small widget on the desktop allows you to quickly scan and change settings. Great product!

Positives: Its a cute copy/scanner/printer, awesome price compare to Target & Best buy.
Negatives: Its LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!, & takes a few minutes to warm up to print, then takes another several minutes to finish printing.. Again it's extremely loud, woke up my daughter & my mom at 3am while I was printing. They were only was only 3 rooms away. :(
If money is an issue, then yes buy ur self this printer, if you are not on a budget, um DON'T DO IT. Go get ur self copy/scanner/printer/fax with WIFI nd a quite one lol. :)

Looked around for a while for a simplisic all in one for basic home use & photograhy. Didn't expect much from the photo end, but was happily surprised!, vibrant, affordable ink that last! The scanner work perfectly also. Easy & fast set up, great online tools & ideas, and progam installs with very useful 'gps' type guides on desktop- even my 8 year old has no problems printing out doc's from the web & his reports.

Review 10 for Canon Pixma MP280 All-in-One Photo Printer
For a cheaply priced All in one printer, this baby is great! It's wireless, and if your not using wireless, just plug it in and within minutes it's ready to use! I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but this printer is awesome! Looks sleek and cool and prints beautifully! Scans quick and easy, everything is a snap. I think Canon is losing money by selling these so cheap! It would be worth 3 times the amount! Why spend $100.00 on a comparable printer when this one does it all better and for cheaper! I would recommend this to anyone, and the inks are fairly cheap online. Most inks cost $30.00-$50.00, I can buy these re-manufactured for like $10.00 each! Great Product! Buy it now!

Bought this to replace a Lexmark 2600.I had an old Lexmark work horse that I could refill the ink, the 2600 wouldn't allow me to do so. I have ordered an ink cartridge chip resetting tool for Canon so I will update this review when that time comes. As for the printer operation it seems to do everything ok.

Review 17 for Canon Pixma MP280 All-in-One Photo Printer
Wel if you can't afford more is great, otherwise get something better. It only prints while you are online using a toolbar which most of us hate. It says printer offlineto allow you to use it offline, but it doesn't work offline most of the time. So if you don't have internet it won't work for you . It is cheap it works like it, so you decide. I need it one fast so I got it, when I have more money I will buy a good printer. All in all is good enough for the 30 bucks you pay for it.

I worried that this was just too cheap to work well. Was I surprised. This little printer is super quiet, makes great color copies and scan color accurately. I prints quite fast at about 5 seconds from hitting the final print command to having the first page out and finished.
With photo paper the commands let you place boarders, crop and zoom before printing beautiful prints.
Highly recommend this for anyone that needs a home or small office unit.
