No where near the 22 year old Avanti it replaced. Came out of the box with a small dent on the door. Shelves are flimsy and not sure it it will actully freeze anything. On a possitive the freezer area does pull out so if I determine it won't freeze ice packs I will fill it with more beer.

Since I've only owned this refrigerator for about two weeks, I didn't think it fair that I rate it on durability (but I had no option not to). However, so far, on every other count, I found the Igloo 4.6 cu. ft. refrigerator to be exactly what I expected. It was inexpensive, bigger than I expected, and is relatively quiet, while keeping everything icy cold. A great buy! And really nice looking, too!

Well....my husband bought this item for his shop and then I read the reviews (he did not before purchase). Ours was beat all to poo just like everyone elses. I think they just keep sending out the damaged ones that get returned. Well we are keeping ours because too much of a hassel to take it back and the shop guys will beat it up anyways so thats one less out of circulation. Good luck to you if you do purchase. Hopefully yours wont look like iron man played soccer with it. Seems to work fine otherwise.

This product came damaged and appeared to have been used before. The door wouldn't shut, it was missing a "foot" on the bottom, there were two large dents, and the bottom looked like it had been glued and taped, perhaps to fix a previous problem. The only salvation was that it was easily returnable, but still a waste of time. Very disappointing. I ended up going to another retailer to buy a product off the shelf.

Horrible packaging

It looks like a great fridge. Unfortunately, I have ordered 4 so far and they have ALL arrived damaged during shipping. It's not a shipping problem but a packaging problem. They literally only wrap the fridge in a plastic bag and put a form fitting box over it so whatever the box hits during shipping leaves a permanent dent/scratch on the fridge. That is the worst attempt I've seen for a company to save a few pennies. They have to be losing more by all the returns.

You get what you pay for. It keeps things cold, but the door had 3 very noticeable dents in it from poor packaging. The wire racks inside are also cheap and bend with any decent load on them. If you don't care about appearance or quality then it is good fridge for the money. Otherwise don't buy it.

Mini refrigerator is handsome and efficient, serves purpose of purchase as desired. The card board crate that carried the refrigerator was beaten, torn and in generally poor condition. A dent in the stainless door was ignored because I wanted the item now and was too lazy to re-box, reload onto truck and return to store.
Shelves removed and relocated to accommodate longer wine bottles easily. Temperature setting was easy and has been very accurate, 48 F. Excellent alternative, to dual temperature wine refrigerator for storing white wines. 48 F is also a good temperature for beer/ale that does not need to be "ice" cold, stouts, porters etc.

I received this item in a box that looked like it had been thrown down a flight of stairs, the box had five rolls of tape used on it to keep it together. Upon opening the box and revealing the fridge, I found oil all over the top and back of it, the hinge that holds the fridge door on it was broken so the door wouldn't stay on, the top corners all looked like they had been hit very hard with a hammer. the fridge is very light and does not seem like it is quality. I will be returning this item and will not order from walmart.com again, the item was clearly damaged before shipping out and they should not have sent it out to me like that, very poor customer service.

I ordered this fridge and went to pick it up today. There were three dents in it, although the box was not damaged. I can only reason that the fridge was damaged before it was packaged. I did site-to-store shipping and immediately returned it. It was not packaged well at all, the bottom of the box was falling apart. I am going to spend the extra $20-$30 and just buy a fridge in the store or at Lowe's or Target since my Walmart does not carry many brands/options for mini fridges.

Great looking mini fridge!

I bought the Igloo Mini Fridge to replace another unit that failed after 6 yrs. I like the exterior design plus I was familiar with the Igloo Brand. The new fridge was supposed to fit into the existing opening, but it was too tall. I needed to do some wood work to make it fit. Double check the dimensions if you have a specific opening in which to fit the fridge. The interior design is simple and does what I need, sodas, juices, and water bottles. For dorm rooms, there is room for milk sized containers. For me I would have traded the small freezer compartment for an interior light, however the unit can make ice when needed. I installed the unit this week, and performance has been fine. I am planning for a life of more than 6 yrs for, this Igloo product.

Don't waste your time on this product. Manufacturer doesn't properly package fridge & it will almost certainly be damaged during shipping. Product was shipped 100 miles and arrived with large dent on front door, dented bottom corner, missing leg & wouldn't seal properly. Save time & money by avoiding product.

I was so excited about this fridge, I needed more fridge space for my healthy food. I was a bit disappointed when it came to my door with some dents and doesn't stand on all four sides evenly. It has an odd temperature gauge that doesn't tell temperature, but rather states a number of power. But, it is serving it's purpose (except sometimes when it decides to not freeze things in the freezer compartment).

I just received the fridge so I can't comment too much on how well it works. My problem is that it arrived dented. The packaging is drastically inadequate. Walmart customer service was excellent and the replacement process was quick and painless. Unfortunately the replacement was also dented. I don't know how any of these fridges arrive without dents.

The Walmart service was great. This was an online order with store pickup. Ordering was very easy. Item arrived five days ahead of promise date. Two Walmart employees at pickup point were very helpful, conversational and courteous. Unfortunately, once box removed at home the item had three dents on front door and foot missing. I immediately returned it to the store. Again - customer service very courteous and charges instantly removed from my card - no questions. It's a shame - just a quick look over prior to shipment and careful transit would have made this a perfect experience.

When we took it out of the box it was damaged. A dent on side of door and on the front. Since this is being used as second fridge just for soft drinks, couldn't be bothered with packing it back up to return. Site to store is good except this time the wait in line was about 1/2 hour and they were short on help. Everything took so long we wanted to get out of there. Normally we would have had them open the box to check for damage.
