I wanted a wireless connection to my Xbox. This controller works great. The only complaint I would have is due to the layout of the joysticks on the controller. It is taking a bit to get used to because I am used to a PS3 controller. The the left joystick is positioned higher on the controller than the one on the right while the PS3 joysticks are in the same positions on the left and right sides. Again, I will probably get used to this but would prefer the PS3 layout.

No cords. You can sit anywhere in a reasonably sized living room and play. It does consume the batteries. Microsoft is kind enough to supply your first set. Go ahead and spring for a set of rechargeable batteries and a charging stand.

The wireless range is awesome! My ONLY complaint is that the controller does NOT come with a rechargable battery pack! You have to use AA batteries and change them out when they die. I already have a charging dock for my other controllers so I once again need to spend money on buying an additional rechargable battery pack for this controller.

First the controller, all buttons and switches work perfectly which is more than I can say about the one I got directly from Microsoft Store online where the bumpers and D-Pad required additional force. But this was shipped FedEx and the driver called me saying his vehicle broke down, the package shipped ground he asked me if it was alright to bring it the next day and I said it was OK. However I walked out the front door a few hours later and there was my package, I was happy let alone my kids. FedEx has provided excellent service and perfect packages, I'm glad Walmart chose them for shipping. I've converted nearly all my online orders to Walmart, service is excellent and ground only takes 2 days.

Black controllers absorb heat from your hands and cause perspiration that affects gameplay negatively. I used to use a white controller and I accidentally bought a black one, I've kept with it but I would highly recommend the white one. It matters if you play any more than half an hour.

Got this control with the bundle for around $15 so it was a great deal. It is the original Microsoft controller so you can expect it to be one of the best, if not the best out there. It comes with batteries, but I would recommend on buying one of those controller chargers.

When you are going to do a few chores while you are playing, turn off controller so you save battery power. Also buy rechargable batteries, not xbox 360 battery packs, its cheaper and essentially the same thing

I'm used to xbox making high quality, lasting products. NOT THIS ONE! I got my first one about 5 months ago, and all of a sudden, It would not work. I've tried changing the batteries, but when I try to turn the controller on, I get one almost half-flash and then nothing happens. So, I call Microsoft and they say there is nothing they can do, and I need to get a new one. So, I go back and get another one and after almost one week, the same happens to this one. I'm not a extreme gamer either. I play for about an hour a week. Incredibly disappointed. If you are looking for a new controller, get the wired one. Will save you hundreds of dollars in replacement controllers, batteries, and the cost of shipping it to Microsoft.
