THIS PRINTER IS GREAT, HARD TO GET IT TO PRINT. AND NOW IT PRINTS AN INFORMATION PAGE BEFORE THE DOCUMENT BUT IT'S ONLY IN WORD.

At first it Printed so well, ink is not cheap go though it twice as much. Now I put in new ink it shows it is only half full and tells me to order, scaner will print but not ture colors. Only had 6 months and Im buying ink every month

After only 3 months...unable to print in black ink. changed cartridge, ran through maintenance steps, replaced driver head - apparently this print has a poor design and was told unless printer is left on all the time - head will dry out.
After replacing the printer head under warranty....only worked for a few pages then back to the same issue....this was with another new cartridge. Will never buy another kodak printer

I bought this same printer from Best Buy July 2011, so it is barely over a year old. It is already broken, and Kodak support says I need a new printhead at a cost of $42.50 plus S & H. I only paid 49.00 for the printer. It is loud and actually shakes when it does print. I bought it because Kodak ink was cheaper than other Brands. The price of the ink is now much higher that a year ago. Also, if you run out of ink in one cartridge, you have to replace both at the same time. So you lose whatever ink was in the remaining cartridge. You cannot use a generic cartridge in this printer. The only way I could get thru to Kodak support was on their online chat line. I suggest you do research on your own before purchasing this printer.

I am extremely frustrated and disapointed with this printer. I am constantly having to go back to the store for ink all the time. I didn't have this many problems with the printer I had before. And now today I have to run back to the store for colored ink even though I am not even printing anything in color!

This product is replacing another Kodak printer. It does save money on ink costs. I needed to call technical support to connect my printer as I did the first time. Other than set up difficulties I would highly recommend this product.

Mine was a dud straight out of the box. The rear paper feed rollers wouldn't move and the screen would havr error code show up. And there was no getting past it. So now I have to drive over 2 hours to the nearest Wal-Mart to return it. It probably is a good printer but not this one I guess!

I purchased a Kodak 3250 printer at Wal-Mart 2 years ago and it was a very good printer until it died last summer. Hearing that Kodak was going out of business I purchased a Canon printer, what a piece of junk it is. The Kodak ink and photo paper is better and cheaper than anything Canon makes. If I had known Kodak would still be in business this long, I would have purchased another Kodak. For the money, Kodak is the best printer made. Don't use Kodak photo paper in Canon printer, the colors don't come out right.

I bought this item one year ago on the basis of Kodaks advert's,low cost of operation.
NOT!
I paid a bit more for it than 60$ being it was a new-release item.
I should have returned it after being dissapointed with the quality of my first photo printout.
I have never seen such drab photos with all my older/cheaper printers.
I figured I can live with it being the INK was soo cheap.
It wasnt long before the original ink depleted and had to buy more.
New ink lasted 2-3 months before warning me it is empty,,I printed 3 reciepts and 2 shipping labels!
Here I am,one year later,63 plain document print's and printer is asking for new color ink AGAIN!
This printer is OFF while not in use,I print a few pages a MONTH,and the ink seems to evaporate.
I am shure it is some print-head problem which Kodak is well aware of (they told me I am stuck with this poor product)
PLEASE take my word,stay away from this money-pit printer!
-Went back to my 7 year old HP photosmart,ink lasts me up to 2 years,photos are beutifull,and has never had "printhead" issues.
170 Kodak dollars OUT THE WINDOW in one year,no thanks.

Terrible printer for printing color photos

Normally, I am very satisfied with everything I purchase at Walmart, but this printer is the exception. When printing color photos, the colors are way off. Skin tones are orange, green grasses are blue-greeen, and orange prints a pinkish color. (These same photos print fine on my other printer.) After buying several replacement color and black cartridges, the colors didn't improve. I then contacted customer service. Their evaluation was that I needed to purchase a new $30 printhead (for a printer only nine months old and infrequently used). I would not recommend this printer for anyone who wants to print photos.

I switched from HP photo printer to this Kodak printer to save money. I didn't! I runs out of ink with every few pages. I am a student and need this for school. Also, if you are out of color ink and want to prink black and white, this is not an option. You also lose the ability to scan if any of your cartridges are out of ink! That is insane! I was not happy and I'm going back to HP. At least with an HP if you are low on color it will automatically switch to black and white printing. I wish someone had told me this before my purchase.

We print in black and white and the color cartridge is somehow consumed. Furthermore; Even if your printing in black and white the color cartridge still has to be fresh... So off to Walmart so we can buy yet another color cartridge so we can print in black and white. ????

Although I had some issues on setting up the WiFi, i was able to get it hooked up and running good for the last 6 months. I use this at home & print atleast 10 pages a week, mostly via WiFi. I got an error message today, that paper was jammed. I opened the printer cartridge door, but found no paper jam. I opened the back door and tried locating any jam. Nothing in there too. The printer cartridge was hidden beneath the case & failed to move when I opened the cover. On closer inspection I found a piece of broken plastic. It appears the groove where the belt attached is broken. NOW MY PRINTER IS USELESS & I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER ONE. Lasted for just 6 months!! My HP printer lasted 4 years without any issues & is still in my closet. The only reason I had to change was the lack of WiFi function. Regret buying a KODAK.

Buyer's beware! Sure, ink is cheaper, but don't buy this product, unless you are OK with replacing the printer every year or so. I bought mine and it worked fine for a little over a year. Their customer service said they couldn't replace it because it was past the warranty. Understandable, but you would expect a product like this to have a little longer useful life, don't you?

I have used this printer for just over one year. Ink may be cheaper to buy but it uses it up twice as fast as my previous printer so it is not so economical after all. I only print black and white but evidently it must some how use up the color ink as it has to be replaced much sooner than it should since I just do not use color. Also if color ink is out you can not print just black and white so off to the store to buy a new color cartridge so I can print. It jams up paper every now and then and now does not feed paper through evenly (rollers may be worn out).

Bought because ink cartridges were much cheaper than other brands. They print about half as much as hp or Canon. Printer puts scratches in pictures while printing. Printer says it is jammed when it was not. I finally went back to Wal Mart Store and bought a Canon MP495. It is doing much better and sold for less than I gave for the 5210.

This is the worse printer ever. I would never buy Kodak again. if you have problems you get to talk to someone in some other country that you don't understand and doesn't understand anything that you are saying. Had this less than an year and either paper jams or says it is out of paper when it is not. Tried to get help with Kodak and was told it was fixed over the phone.WHAT A JOKE . Never never again. don't waste your money and does not save on ink.
