My wife and I purchased this crib about a 2 years ago. In the past few months our son has begun climbing out of the crib, and I have been trying to find somewhere to get the toddler bed conversion kit. In the manual it says to go to Walmart.com and put in the part number and they will send it to you for free, but this part does not exist on Walmart.com. The fact that Walmart would sell us this crib and then not sell the part to convert it is infuriating, but not as infuriating as the fact that they still sell this crib with the promise that you can get the conversion kit when you need it. So , now I am going to build my own part to convert it. All in all this is a great crib, its beautiful, sturdy, and easily assembled, but if you plan on converting it to a toddler bed, either build your own kit, or try and find the piece on ebay.

I bought the Jamestown Black Cherry set. I love the finish and look of the crib, if you are looking for espresso finish it may not be for you. Its is a dark cherry finish with the redish tint. All three pieces seem sturdy. I ordered it online with Walmart.com and it was delivered via FedEx 3 days later. I did not have any damaged pieces besides small nick in back of dresser. I Didnt feel it was significant enough to return. Assembly was easy I am 6 months pregnant and did it myself. The chest was more time consuming. I gave 4 stars because I haven't used it just yet, baby is due in 3 more months. Overall nice set for $500

This crib is gorgeous. It looked even better in person once I set everything up. Like some of the other reviews stated, it does have more of a red tone than the picture shows but it depends on the lighting in the room. Also very easy to put together.

All of this collection looks much more expensive than the 500.00 I paid for it. I am very pleased so far. The colr is just perfect and it appears to be of good quality.

Great crib for the $

This was purchased as a gift for me over a year ago. Through my own inability my child hasn't slept in it yet but that is my fault. Now that we are ready to convert it to a toddler bed I knew I was going to have to buy the conversion kit. I have noticed some confusion in the reviews regarding this kit. It is sold separately. I have been able to find the toddler bed conversion kit on Walmart's website. If you search for Child of Mine Conversion kits it is listed there with the other brands. It is $50.00, which is much cheaper than buying a whole new bed. The conversion rails for a full size bed are also sold separately. I have had a harder time locating these.
The quality of the crib is excellent for the price...I put it together by myself around 8 months pregnant. One quick note it did not fit back through the doorway when it was put together. I assembled it in the nursery so measure first or your going to have to take it apart to get it in the room!!!!

I was skeptical of purchasing a bed for such a low price and without getting to see it in person. I was very pleased to see its quality was well over my expectations. It was simple to put together and the color is beautiful. The bed height positions are easy to change. Some people complained it scratches easy, but they're going to happen regardless. In order to get conversion rails for the full size, you do have to contact the company via phone.

I love this Crib i also bought the matching dresser and changing table and it all matches very well and the Black Cherry is a beautiful color im 7 months pregnant and was able to put it together with minimal help from my dad and it all arrived in great condition a few lil unnoticeable dings but overall im very pleased!!

This is a great crib. I was 8 months prego and was able to set it up all by myself and I'm no good with putting things together. It looks great in my daughters room and is very sturdy. I've moved twice and still no scratches. The only thing negative that I have to say about the crib is that the conversion kit is very hard to find. Even online it is out of stock. The purpose of me purchasing a convertible crib was so I could get long term use. So now I have to buy my almost 2 year old a new bed.

I was a little nervous about the quality if this crib because of the price. We just set it up yesterday and its really pretty! Great color and quality! Looks like it cost a lot more. The same goes for the dresser and changing table.

This product looks great and is priced right! It was fairly easy and quick to assemble. The only gripe I have is that the wood is very soft and if slightly hit with another piece while assembling it scratches or dents extremely easy. I haven't used it yes as I am still 7 weeks away from meeting my little boy. Bottom line, I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

I love this baby crib and so does my daughter, she is the one that picked it out. I was skeptical about ordering furniture without seeing it but I was very pleased when it came in. Beautiful color and easy to assemble. My only problem is this bed is advertised as a 4 in 1 Convertible Crib, but you have to order another part in order for it to convert. Seems a little misleading to me. Other than that, it is perfect. My new grandson will love it too when he gets here. :)

I have seen similar cribs in other stores at a much higher price. I wanted to get a nice looking crib that is also durable and NOT cheaply made. I looked around many stores, and online, until I finally came across this one. I love the color, it is very nice and every piece if very well made. I absolutely love this crib and would recommend everyone looking for a crib to get this one.

Bed is amazing for the price. Hate that u have to buy the toddler rail separately. That was a disappointment plus having it shipped here there were only a few scratches but you cannot notice them because they are in the back of the head board or in a spot you won't notice. But overall this is a great product-very easy to put together and quick. Only about 30-45 min. If that.

We received the crib in 2 days (ship to home) and it is beautiful! The color is really nice against the blue walls in our nursery. Took my husband about an hour to assemble the crib and changing table and both match well. The crib is sturdy and looks GREAT! I am very happy with our purchase so far! The only problem was the sticker, like other reviews have said, it's right on the side and I need to use warm water to try and get it off.

I ordered two of this crib because I have twins and I love them. they were easy to put together (even did it by myself) and once they were put together they are very sturdy. To adjust the mattress up and down is easy and quick and the quality so far is good.

I was hesitant to purchase nursery furniture online without being able to see the furniture in person first; however, the positive reviews and great price won me over. I must say that my wife and I are very happy with this nursery furniture! All three pieces (the crib, changing table and dresser) arrived at the Walmart store (we had them shipped to the store so it was free) at the same time and in excellent condition - no scratches or dings at all! The furniture went together easily and looks fantastic! It is also well made and sturdy - especially for the price for the three pieces! Our little one loves the space in her new crib as she was outgrowing her bassinet after only 2 1/2 months! Overall, great service, great product and great price!
