We bought this camera for our 8 year old Granddaughter and she just has the time of her life with it. She loves to take pictures of everything and easily picked up on all the main operating features. I am impressed with it's perfomance compared to my older, more expensive Canon digital compact camera.

I've had this camera for a year and it still works amazing. Its awesome with all the customizations you could choose from. This camera has been dropped so many times and I've even dropped this camera in the deep of the pool end at my friends house and it still works great.

If this camera was any other color it would sell millions at this price. Does great shots and video worthy of HD video usage and is simple to use. More over it will accept at least an 8GB SD card and runs on two AA batteries. Another point is the tripod mount is in the center of the camera unlike so many others that offset it.

I was given this camera at my baby shower in April but it got stolen. I loved the camera so much that I wanted to get the same one. There are so many great features and it is so easy to use. Even my husband who is not that technologically savvy is able to change settings to capture a beautiful image. I definitely recommend getting a good memory card to go with it. I just purchased a cheap one because I am low on funds and it takes a few seconds for images to load versus when I had a good quality card in the original camera.

I received a used/abused camera from a store display-did not receive a new camera-I'm sure a new one would have worked properly but as that is not what I received i can't review on it. The one I received had pictures from a Walmart store on it and made many crazy noises. It also had scratches and what looked like food in the crevices of the camera, possibly from being picked up multiply times by people while shopping? I immediately took this camera to the local store for a refund and purchased a different camera. Also, this one took quite a while to be shipped but my next purchase literally showed up at my door 24 hours after I ordered it!

I bought this camera for my Auntie in the Philippines and i like this camera. It come out a good picture. You can adjust the camera sitting and it come out like the DSLR camera. You can see the picture how nice that's the result of the camera.

as of tonight i just had to return this camera to walmart, i had issues out the wahzuu with it, given u never know if the batteries that come with an item are really good. so i switched batteries in this camera when it indicated after only a couple minutes use that it was low battery, i have tried name brand as wall as el cheapo batteries with this thing and it freezes up, shuts down when i try to zoom, constantly has to reset date and time and month and language, it turns it self on and off by its self... after 7 days of this mess i got tired of it when a special moment i wish i could have saved was ruined when this camera stopped working i placed brand new batteries in it and it drained them dead. i do not recommend this camera unless it is tried out first.

I saw that this camera was not avail in stores, maybe because it is so popular. I had it sent "site to store" and it arrived about 5 days later. Walmart is on the ball with this service!!
I took the camera with me immediately to an event and had to fiddle with it a bit to get the correct lighting, focus etc.......I have now gotten to where most of it is easy to understand. The manual that comes with the camera is not really for this particular model as I am not seeing a knob to pick scenes on the top of this camera. You do all of the scene selections digitally. I am getting the hang of it. There is a LOT that this camera does that I am still learning about.
Overall, very pleased. I wanted a simple, small, good quality image camera as my Canon S5 Power Shot (8mp) is basically a full sized camera and sometimes it is bulky. This little pink camera fits the bill for times when you don't want bulk. Don't get me wrong, I love LOVE my Canon, and I am keeping it, but love having this little one as it is so convenient. I have found it difficult to find the picture quality on this Sanyo camera, it says it goes up to 14mp.....and I am unsure what quality my pictures are coming out as. The manual is not the correct one for this camera that explains this. I have since downloaded this camera's manual online.

Only had camera for about 2 weeks now. I just can't believe how fast the batteries need to be changed. 1st, I was just checking out what it does, setting etc., for about no more than 20 mins (no pics taken# and had to change the batteries, then it was Holloween so I took camera to work to take pics and only took 5 pics #within about 5 mins) and batteries dead, again. No, I didn't leave it on. Don't know what's up with that. I thought I might have this issue if I was using the video, as the reviews did state that it ate up the batteries fast, but I haven't even done that. Maybe I got a lemon or something, so I'm going to contact Sanyo and see what's up.

I looked at the camera at the Walmart store when it arrived via ship to store. The camera screen had a big scratch across it. The pink case had little scratches on it as well. The camera appeared to be used. I returned the camera immediately. If you use ship to store be sure that your product is new.

My 10 year old daughter got this for her birthday. She loves it! It works very well and takes beautiful pics and videos. Very impressed for the low cost. I have an Olympus thats a few years older and this Sanyo takes better pictures and has better features. If you want a camera that works great and you don't want to spend a lot, this certainly isn't a bad choice. I would carry it around except that it's pink!

I purchased two of the camera's for my twin grand daughters 5th birthday. They were always taking their parents camera or phone to take pictures and in the past they have had "toy" camera's but once they realized that they did not operate like a "real" one they never used them again. The minute they opened the Sanyo and started clicking they were THRILLED. It was a REAL camera in their favorite color and the picture taking has been constent ever since they're birthday.

I tend to take a lot of pictures "click click click" as i go to different places. and I dont take care of it well. So needed a cheap camera but that is able to give me a good quality picture. this does the job. I've used this for about 6 months now. I take it out when rain drops are drizzling and my friends have their good, expensive cameras inside bags.

Two things I dont like, the night vision mode doesnt give good quality pics AND it is pink colour (but bought it as it was on sale) :)

When I first got this camera I thought it would be hard to use as it's my first digital camera, but no it's easy, it's incredible the pictures are awesome they're crisp and clear.
The video recording is suburb, the zoom helps alot.
The color is awesome it's not really pink but more like a dark magenta, everyone likes the camera I even got complements on the color at my cousins wedding last year.
What's best about this camera is that you can disable the flash which helps for those times you don't need the flash or if you are like James Bond and your into that spy stuff.
Even when you disable the flash the pictures are still clear.
An excellent camera in my book, you will not be disappointed.

I usually only buy cameras in store so that I can see exactly what I am getting. However, I really wanted a pink camera and couldn't find one in the store that I like within the price range that I wanted. This camera is awesome. Very easy to use and even fits very easily into my pocket. I would recommend this camera for the beginner and those who are quite familiar with digital cameras. I love my new camera!!!
