Amazing Program for any fan

A friend of mine introduced me to this amazing show from BBC. The premise is original in that it takes the beloved Sherlock Holmes and throws him into today's London where his quirky hangups must be advanced. Sherlock has always been a man of his time, but now he finds himself texting and at the top of Forensic Science. This series is fast paced and brilliantly written. Freeman and Cumberbatch bring a new breath of life to these stories with nods to numerous stories from the Cannon. Written by two clear fans, this series satisfies the fan of the original Sherlock and introduces the amazing stories and friendship to the 21st century. Only disadvantage is there are very few bonus features. The commentaries are worth a listen, but that is the only glimpse really at behind the scenes world of Sherlock. I suggest it to anyone looking for a new obsession, but beware, once you watch one you're hooked and it's a long wait til the next series!

Love sherlock. Watson is just adorable. To me this is by far the best Sherlock out there.

I absolutely love this series. It's a unique take on Sherlock Holmes set in modern time England, and it does not disappoint. Great characters, visuals, and story lines, it's one of my new favorite shows.
