When my Casio 30 Databank watch gave out after about four years, I looked around for a replacement that would also give me multiple alarms and a countdown timer. The Digital Sport watch has those features so I bought it. I don't really need world time zones, but as is often the case with a multifunction digital watch, sometimes one accepts features one doesn't need in order to get the features one wants. I also found the small map and analog clock displays to be kind of gimmicky. But I was willing to live with this. The deal-breaker for me is that I have a moderate hearing loss and I can't hear the alarm; it's much quieter than the one on my previous watch. So I've found my old friend the Casio 30 online at Walmart, and as soon as I receive it, the Digital Sport is going back. But for those who have pretty good hearing and want to know what time it is in Paris, Bangkok, etc. (the manual says you get 43 cities worldwide) this is a very capable watch at a low price.

Good watch for the money

Best thing about this watch is the waterproof. The clock hands on the 'analog' face dial need to be more definite and easy to see. The digital numbers are fine though. Band is comfortable enough. Instruction book is initially thick and scary, but gets easier after a few reads and some practice doing the settings. Day and date is easy to read, which is important to me.

Buying online saved me $4 but i did have to wait about 2 weeks to get it. My local walmart was out of stock on this watch during that entire time though. I live in houston. the watch was shipped from Houston to Arkansas walmart corp. then back to my local store in houston. Kinda crazy.

I bought this watch because it was a name brand I trusted “Casio” and I knew it would be reliable. Also, if I made a mistake, it was only a little mistake at $16.
I liked the fact that it displayed the date and day of the week also.
Even though the manual included was very hard to read because of the size, I downloaded the manual off the Internet. This made the setting up of the watch very easy.
I have recommended this watch to friends.

I bought this watch for my son as a bootcamp graduation gift. He absolutely loves it! He was devastated when the band broke(he was wrestling around with a friend and it got caught on something). So i just bought him another one! Great product for the price.

Excellent quality, lightweight on wrist..comfortable strap should fit up to 81/2' wrist no problem.
Intuitive without reading the manual - or download PDF from Casio website for module 3198 - to really enjoy all the features.
The backlight is adequate and not a reason not to purchase this watch.
With a 10 year battery and 5 alarms/signal/world time 48 cities/Home Time + 3 local times/countown timer/Chronograph/signal/map of world/a digital hand analog display which is pretty cool...I would highly recommend this watch to anyone who wants a beater that is also highly functional with a HIGH cool factor. BTW the auto display feature allows the Home time and your three other selected "local" times to display in a repeat fashion should you select this feature.

this was a birthday gift for my grandson. thought maybe it wouln't be hip enough, but I was wrong. He loves it. hasn't taking it off since he put it on. Casio makes a real good long lasting watch. Its quality and its teenaged approved.

I had to return this watch because it didn't give the correct time for my State. I bought this watch for a birthday present for my son. My son was so upset to find out that the watch he picked out over the internet didn't state the actually locations. What a bummer!!!

The name on the watch has already worn off after two weeks. I bought the watch for work and because it has five alarms, so I set it to test for my diabetes four times a day. The only problem is that you might miss it if your around any noise. While it does sound for ten secounds at each alarm point and then shuts off day after day, which is great for my application, if I can't hear it, whats the point? Wish it had a vibrator like my cell phone instead of the audio alarm. The appearance of the watch is nice and the lens seems scratch resistant. The buttons are big enough and work well. I work around electricity so the rubber wrist band and plastic case are a plus! For $16 you couldn't ask for a better watch, even if I can't hear the alarm.

The watch is very inexpensive and you have to know that going in to it. I bought it to use when swimming, snorkleing, etc. Works well and is a nice looking piece.
After my first swim, all the writing on the outside of face has washed off. The words under the plastic/glass are all fine. So was disappointed that it lasted about a day in the water.
Other then that...good inexpensive watch.

Many years ago this watch was one of those that you had to have3 now that its much much cheaper its still a good watch to have while working out and traveling to places that you don't mind getting it banged up a bit. Good and sturdy and keeps accurate time in 4 time zones
