This cable will improve your computer monitor/TV resolution. I did have a VGA cable hooked up to the computer and the DVI cable definitely improved the picture. I ordered the cable and it was delivered to my Wal-Mart store one day sooner than promised. I recommend this cable. My computer is older and doesn't have an HDMI output, so the DVI was the best I could do.

Great Product. Didn’t expect this cable to be as nice as it was. I would recommend this cable for the length and quality. At less that a $1 a foot unbeatable value. Other retail local shop wanted $79 for the same length cable.
I needed a 10’ cable to reach my second monitor and standard monitor cable (vga) was not picking up the monitor profile so a dvi cable was needed. After attching this cable moniter was recognized and all settings were correct.
Loved this product will purchase more as needed. Thanks Wal-Mart!
