I purchased this heavybag/stand as a Christmas gift and was excited that it said adjustable. I did not even think to measure how high my ceilings were in the basement because it said adjustable. That was my mistake. I get the item delivered and when I am really to put it together I discover that I need two more inches to even put it together. So now I have the stand and heavybag in my basement taking up more space then needed! I can't use, or put it together. Then would return it but it cost way too much to return it in the mail and too heavy to lift and return to the store!!! Just really upset at myself!!!! Always read all details and measure the height in your house.............

I am not a big "boxer" or heavy "hitter".... I just needed something to hold my 70lb heavy bag for a little exercise. This does the trick for what I need it for. I haven't had issue with needing weights for stability yet...as I stated...not a heavy "hitter or kicker" for that matter. :-) I would definitely recommend!!

The punching bag stand is very solid. When you punch the bag it slides on the carpet a little. I placed it in the corner of my daughter's room with the back leg wedged in the corner with soft packing and works great. You can also place weight plates on the holders on each leg also.

It is a great boxing bag stand, but it is shorter than I first thought. Other than that with a hundred pound bag on it, it works fine shakes if you hit it to hard but I just put 50 pounds on the front to prevent that.

Had my 11 and 13 year old put it together. Make sure the lettering is rjght sid up and you give them an extra set of eyes--a socket set and wrench really makes things go smoother!!

the stand was pretty east to put together
it comes with tools to put it together but i didnt like the little wrench thing i used my own
one thing i did find out if you are a heavy hitter you should buy weights to also make it more stable
over all it did i job i needed it for i used this a 100lb bag

HAVE A SOCKET HANDY*****!!!!!!!! kudos to everyone who aced this in 20- 45 mins! as for me who sat there like a deer in the headlights.thank god for the youtube video i came across, you need a socket to tighten the bolts, but other than that it was a piece of cake.I ordered this in a kit with the bag, gloves and wraps. But Walmart has still yet failed to send me the bag and its been almost 2 weeks :/ yay me!

I love this stand it is perfect for our little apartment [and I mean little]. It was easy to assemble, it took us [my fiance and I] about 30 minutes. It is very durable, we didn't need any weights on the pegs but I would imagine as we both become stronger, I can see the added stability weights would add. But for now, I can't see this stand toppling over and I really beat at a 100lb bag. I also have the bag high on the stand as opposed to lower, which I think adds stability because the bag doesn't swing around so much. I bought it to suppliment my weight loss and it is definitely serving its purpose. It's perfect for an at-home gym or anyone just trying to add a different element in their weight loss/exercise routine. If you aren't satisfied with the stability of the stand, add weight to the pegs or lay sand bags along the legs [50 lbs on each leg]. Evryone else reccomends at least 250 lbs for the stand to withstand some heavy beating, but I would assume that is for people who have muscle mass and who box regularly.

Good beginner's stand

Just got this in the mail yesterday and set it up. I'm a pretty small woman & was able to set this all up yesterday in about an hour by myself. The only part that I had trouble with was lifting the bag to the chains once I put them on. It needs more weight on the pegs to stabilize than I imagined it would (or maybe I'm just a tad bit stronger than I first thought!). It came to me in good condition, the box was a little rough though. I am very happy with this purchase. I've included a photo, just wanted to note that the basketball hoop next to it is a child's size hoop, just to bring things to proportion. The bag stand is a little over 7 ft if I had to guess.

I got the product in time. It was easy to assemble without any instructions. In spite of the package was torn and 2 bolts were missing, the customer support resolved this issue in few min. The stand is enough strong and steady and easy to move from place to place. I don't use by any anchors for this stand. I got what I expected to have. I would recommend this to a friend.
