As they are new, they are quite firm and need some breaking in. However, they are just what I needed to practice my women's self defense (from class at home). Great product!

Let me tell you I train with some pretty intense athletes and these Thai pads definitley hold up to the beating they can dish out. No fighter should be without a set of these for the price walmarts selling them at.

20 year JKD practitioner, so I have had a lot of experience with these type of pads. These are not as well padded as the more pricey versions. But given the price, the value can't be beat. I bought a couple of these to train with a couple of my friends who have fought professionally and they held up just fine.

With all the expensive fighting equipment out on the market this is the best bang for the buck. Created by Everlast you can be sure that it is quality equipment and priced as cheap, if not cheaper, than unknown/generic products on the internet today. I highly recommend this product if you are not able to afford the high end stuff or if you're just an enthusiast trying to put some work in. Very good for beginners and better protection than boxing mitts if you're kicking and kneeing.
