I have used a number of named brand products. Even ones seen on TV. They still left my skin red. Not these Alba products. My face feels clean, soft with no red splotches.

Perfect for dry skin!

Since I am an avid Retin-A user, my face has a lot of cellular turnover...which leads to lots of dry flakes if I don't exfoliate well. I use this because the pineapple enzymes literally dissolve the flakes...followed by my Clarisonic brush to polish. For aging skin (I'm 43)...this is perfection!

I personally, switch between this and Avalon Organics, depending on what the best deal at the time I am restocking. So, I suppose,this can be an Avalon Organics review as well. I get pretty much the same wonderful results from both. products.But, the Alba is the only cleanser my teens will use anymore!! Once they used it, they were hooked.They use it with one of those spinner brush face cleanser things? I would recommend stocking up on both brands when you have a chance though (if not allergic of course) I have to travel an hour to get to WALMART and have got there to discover they were out. Of course we were crushed. Since then I buy several at a time. Oh, and a little gos a long way so dont waste it and it will last quite awhile...enjoy!! I am flirting with fourty so I use these products as a body wash as well and I noticed it made my sun freckles lighter!! Organic is the only way to go for your skin ladies, those fancy perfumy expensive products, will be the downfalll of many womens skin and p.s. we all have normal skin and my teens, 3 girls, are acne free, hope this helps.xxoo

I went to the store in searching for a new cleanser and i found this one in my local walmart. On the back of the bottle it said good for all skin types. I have normal skin,sometimes my cheeks and chin can get dry but occasionally my forehead and nose are a bit oily. the first time i used this my skin was a bit red and i thought it was just because my skin was getting used to a new product. A couple weeks later i have a huge rash on my face. My face red everywhere dryed out and flaky and a bunch of little red bumps all on my cheeks. I returned this product and got my money back and bought Burts Bees Deep Cleansing Cream. Now my skin is smooth and moisturized and the little bumps are gone would never repurchase Alba Hawaiian Pineapple Enzyme Cleanser again. ITS TERRIBLE NEVER BUY IT!!!
