Wrap yourself and stay warm in the 300-thread count Dobby Mini-Check Down Alternative Comforter. This machine washable comforter is made from 100 percent cotton shell and polyester fiber fill. A carefully constructed baffle box prevents hot/cold spots by reducing shifting as you move during the night This cotton bed comforter will sooth you with a peaceful night of sleep.
Looked & felt nice at first but the filling in each box bunched up within 2 nights of using it. I was surprised because I owned one by the same company that lasted five years. I'm very disappointed and already looking to purchase a new one after only 2 weeks. What a waste of my money! ughh.

Was a little disappointed at first because it is very flat, does not make the bed look fluffy like down. It is very warm. Haven't washed it yet so I don't know how well it will survive a wash. Overall very good.

Cozy! I bought a KING size for my Queen bed... Based on the reviews and it is a perfect fit. I recommend using a duvet cover for easy washing.

Amazing Blanket!

I ordered this blanket with hesitation because I'm pretty cheap and I didn't really want to spend so much on a blanket let alone a white one I knew I would make a mess out of. I bought it anyways and it is well worth my money, this is the warmest thing in the world! I wish it came in other colors, because I live in my bed most of the time and so I have already got it a little dirty but that's my own fault :P This is certainly worth the buy!

I didn't know what to expect with this comforter. I fell in love with it when I opened the package. It is soft and not heavy at all yet it keeps you warm. I suggest to buy a comforter cover as this only comes in white....all in all, it's a great buy and cannot be beat

I'm thinking of buying this comforter but was wondering if it had the corner tie loops for the duvet cover to prevent shifting. Thank you!!

Not Too Hot, Just Right!

I bought this hoping to satisfy my husband who is EXTREMELY sensitive to getting overly hot while sleeping. I have bought down comforters, down with super soft microfiber shell, light weight down, etc. He has complained about every one for 14 years. I bought this because it has a cotton shell, so I assumed it would breathe better and not trap heat, and other reviewers claimed it would not get too hot. When I got it, it was not what I expected. I thought it would be poufy like a down comforter, it is quite flat, more like a regular blanket, as another reviewer stated. This is "okay" for me, just not what I expected. I had already purchased a light weight cotton duvet to put it in, but the blanket feels soft enough to use on its own. I washed and dried it in my front loader with no problems, (still remained "flat"). After we slept under it the first night my husband said it was "THEE BEST" blanket he has ever had in his life! He has literally commented on it every day since (about a week now)! Alas, I am back online to purchase another, as he wants a "back-up" just in case something happens to his beloved blanket, AND to have one to take with him when he travels. The price is great, and for my situation, and anyone else who gets TOO HOT, its worth its weight in gold!

the price is unmatched, super soft, thicker than expected, exact size that i wanted, nicely made, very suttle design. great buy. i have to have white and alternative non gel down, this was the only one at this price anywhere, i spent days searching for one to replace my old one. this one is fluffy, my only one was thinner and not as nice. so glad i got it. will last a long time, walmart you have done it again. thank you.

So far I love this comforter. It feels really soft and seems well constructed. I was looking for something that wouldn't leave me too hot in the middle of the night. I think this is the one. I have a duvet cover on it size 110x98 and it fits just fine. Not a lot of loft but fills out the duvet well. I will probably order a duvet cover closer to the size of this comforter to get a more loftier appearance. Also, I like the stripe detail on the comforter. You can't see it on the picture so it was a nice surprise although I will probably keep it inside a duvet cover. The size is perfect for my king size bed. I have a platform bed and a thick pillow top mattress so I wanted it to fall just where the wood work started to show again and it fits perfectly with just a little overhang. Happy overall.

Great comforter to put into a duvet.

This is a great comforter to be put into a duvet cover. It's the perfect warmth and I have been nothing but satisfied by it. It doesn't feel at all like an actual down comforter, but rather just a cotton bedspread, however, it's still puffy and soft. My only complaint is that it doesn't look very nice without a duvet covering it. I have an actual down comforter that I use without anything over it, but this looks the equivalent to a white pillow without a pillow case-- just incomplete and bare. I have a duvet on it and it's perfect. I'm totally happy with it, although I have felt other alternative downs that feel more like down.

This is the 3rd one of these comfortors that I've bought, so I guess you can assume I really like it. The price is great and it's a really nice comforter.....very poofy, even after having had it for years with years of washing and drying. The fabric is lovely - very soft and smooth. Plus the subtle stripe is classic. It wears really well. I have never had a seam come open, nor had the fill get bunchy or mis-shapen, after years of use. It's really a great find!

The comforter is very nice. It is hard to see online, but there are stripes on the comforter that makes it look real sleek. Slightly heavy weight. I have a high queen bed, but I ordered a king size comforter and it looks great.

I was looking for a king size comforter for my queen size bed (because queen size is just too small) and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. It seems like ALL king size bedding is crazy expensive. So I purchased this and expected it to be pretty decent based on other reviews. It is fantastic. It's a great size, we no longer fight over the covers. It is light weight but still warm. It is winter right now where I live and it's plenty warm enough. But it breathes well and it's not too hot. It is soft and has a nice finish. It got a little snag on something and got a small run in it but I clipped the string and you can't even tell. I haven't washed it yet so I can't comment on how well it will hold up to wash/dry. I feel like I could have paid $150 at a dept store and gotten the same quality. Highly recommend.

My husband and I bought this comforter about two weeks ago and we love it. The fabric is soft and comfortable, not plastic like some of the other brands we have bought in the past. It is relatively lightweight as well, which is what we wanted for use during the warmer months. It has a nice pattern as well making it look a little more expensive than it is. Overall, a great value.

We bought this for our daughter (in a queen size) and it is the perfect size for her bed, and is very comfortable. It is not too thick but is also warm enough. We live in Michigan so we have hot summers and cold winters and it is great through all. My daughter loves it! It was a bit more money than we wanted to spend, but cheaper than other alternatives we saw.

Bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and it is wonderful! Its warm, and not too to heavy. Perfect down alternative comforter. I have bought a few of these and you cannot beat the price or quality of this one. Bed Bath and Beyond charges 4 times as much & Target charges around $100 for a comparable one. Walmart did something really wonderful to add to my shopping experience, they charged me .97 cents shipping and then rushed it to me FedEx to make sure it arrived before Christmas. Thank you Walmart!

Very light looking, at first I didn't think it'd be warm enough. But surprisingly it is and the best part is that it's washable. Hard to tumble dry though, certain patches remained wet while other patches are very hot (dry). Overall a good deal and enough for what I need, as I like to be a little cooler when I sleep.
