These bulbs are very good. They put out a conventional 100 watt warm light which I like much better than the sterile white light produced by other CFLs. And the price is really good. BUT of the 12 I ordered 5 were broken when they arrived. The packaging was definitely inadequate for such fragile items. So calculate your cost based on that.

I agree, these bulbs are just the right color. They lack that dreaded blueish glare often synonymous with fluorescent lights. They emit a pleasing, easy-on-the-eyes light.
