I really like this player and it's ability to stream from Netflix however I didn't realize I needed to buy a separate adapter for the wi-fi to work. The description should make that more clear!

There was a lot of manual set up for internet connection. Internet TV did not work untill I did a software update. After all that the thing worked great and seemed a very good deal for the money.

Is NOT wireless ready as described. It requires an adapter that is not included. It is very nice but the additional expense of the adapter is annoying when it said "The Samsung Blu-Ray DVD player is also wireless LAN-ready." Probably great for those whose TV is next to their router, but won't work for us without purchasing the Samsung adapter WIS09ABGN for $60+.We will see how easy return works!

I have had this for about 2 weeks now and I love it. The picture quality on bluray and dvd discs are fantastic. I bought it refurbished and so far have not had any mechanical problems. I have not been able to set it up for wireless yet. I need to figure out how to return it to the original settings so I can set it up for mine. It is probably easy to do but I am not very tech minded.

I purchased this expecting it to be wireless ready. the wording in the description is deceptive. It needs a Wireless LAN adapter to work on a wireless network. If you have a network cable, it is fine, but you need the adapter to connect to a wireless. Clarify your descriptions!

Did some research and this was one of the top rated untis and the option for me. Have been waiting to buy a Blu-Ray Player for a while and desided on this one based on reports from Consumer Reports and other reviews. All of the Blu-Ray Players work pretty good as far as picture quality but you want to look at the Features they come with. How long it takes to Lode a Disk and other features you may be looking for. Some are internet ready, come with Apps, Wi-Fi capable and some have tones of features. So when shopping look at the extras and see if it's what you want. I purchased the Extended 2-Year Warranty for $9.00 & something, well worth it for peace of mind sence this Player is a Refurbished product. It looked pretty good and almost new with some very light scratches on the front besel plastic (Hardly noticable) and a tini dent on a corner. Which ever one you pick...have fun watching HD DVDs and the HD of Blu-Rays.

Extremely slow and badly set up. You can't set the screen saver to a desired time interval so if you have something paused it shuts down in 10 minutes. Switching between episodes on TV shows is excruciatingly slow on NetFlix. I had another player that had no problems with this, it's not NetFlix. The only reason I rate this as fair is that it has Blue-ray. Spend a few more dollars and get a better made and more thought out player.

This is a terrible Blu-ray player!! It will not read Blu-rays and the rare times it does, there is usually no sound!! We have to restart it 4-8 times to get sound and then it ALWAYS stops less than 10 minutes in to the movie!! IF you can get it restarted, it skips several minutes of the movie!! I hate this Blu-ray player and will buy a new one as soon as possible!

I was reluctant at first to purchase a refurbished product but hoped that since it was from Walmart that they would make it good should it go bad. I had spent several hours on Amazon and other sites looking for a Blu-Ray and after reading the reviews was discouraged. So for the price I decided on this one from Walmart. I have been completely satisfied. A friend of mine had taken it home with him before I had hooked it up to make me a cover for it and when he brought it back was so impressed with the quality of the picture he had me order one for him. Enough said.

I wanted to learn how to use a smart device on my old TV to see if I wanted to get that feature on my next TV purchase, but this might serve its purpose for a longtime. It was easy to set up I just recommend having an ethernet cable to hook up to your computer even though it has wifi I found using the ethernet cable makes it better. So far everything on this DVD player is well worth the price Walmart has sold it for from Samsung...

this unit was extremely easy to install and operate....and once it was turned on, the player sensed what type of television it was connected to and made all necessary adjustments itself...wish some of my co-workers were as smart.....the only glitch was my television manufacturer was not listed (Vizio) and setting the remote was a little difficult ( code for vizio worked out to be 78 - not hard to figure out).....great player and didn't cost a lot....
