I bought this for a friend of mine as a gift, and it is so easy to transfer music from anyones PC. I can drag and drop music from other peoples ITUNES, Windows Media player files, everything! Drag and drop simplicity! You dont' have all the headachs like with an Ipod. As soon as my IPOD takes a dump (it is 4 years old) I will definately buy a Walkman for myself!

I bought this particular item as a Christmas giftfor my brother after buying myself one this past fall. I absolutely LOVE mine, so I hope this one works just as well. I also bought a 4G in pink from another retail store for my 9 year old daughter and can't wait until they get them. I hope they enjoy them as much as I have! Even it's not the ipod, I have always been a huge fan of sony, and have not been disappointed. I started off with the Walkman Casette Player, then their DC player, now their MP3 Player. Way cheaper than Apple, but a great value still! I highly recommend this item!!

Spent a great amount of time researching this product.Purchased a Microsoft Nano.Not for me too small easily lost.A pain to try and operate when jogging ect.Then checked out the MP3 players.Comparing the price to the Ipod and this product was an simple choice.Buy the Sony MP3 and enjoy!!

I have had this for a year, never once have I had an issue with this. Its super user friendly, incredibly easy to put music/video/photo files on it or take them off, the volume is WOW... It keeps a charge for a really long time, I can use it for 4 hours straight and leave it off for many days before it dies all the way.

I've had this player a couple of years now, and it's great. Loading music is a snap, the FM tuner has great pickup, sound quality is very high, and the controls are pretty intuitive. There are two things that might be problematic for some users--it's occasionally a little cranky about recognizing it's been plugged in to charge, and it can be a little tricky downloading podcasts and such to it. For someone like my husband who is updating this and reorganizing that and subscribing to the other every few days, and runs down his batteries all the time, these things could be major drawbacks. For someone like me who loads new music a couple times a year and can be bothered to glance at the screen to make sure it's charging when I plug it up, those things are no big deal.

fast to up load songs. ear buds suck. I would go with skull candy. Ilike that you can drop songs from itunes and windows . THE thing i dont like is you cant delete song from the player it self! Ive had cheeper one and you can do this. Or make a play list on it instead of doing it on the computer.

Works as advertised. That's a good thing in today's marketplace.
Only two concerns.
Face scratches pretty easily. So I got a stick-on "sheet" to cover/protect it--easy solution.
Since any button turns it on, it is easy to inadvertently turn it on, not know it, and drain the battery. When you're done using it, you have to make sure it is turned off.

I would recommend this Mp3 player to anyone looking for an easy to use player with good sound. Overall use and set up was simple. Some people complained that it "automatically" syncs to your computer and downloads ALL your music and images. If you read the screens you click on during set up it gives you a yes or no option to do this. Just say no. Then you can load whatever you CHOOSE onto it. AM/FM receiver works well in town and close to radio stations, however if you plan on using it for a long bicycle ride or marathon don't count on keeping the same station long. Over I give this player 4.5/5 stars.

For the money, you cannot beat this product. Haven't had it long and still figuring out all it can do. Loaded almost 100 CD's & 25 pictures and still have almost half of the space still available.
I do not like the earbuds. This is compatable with Sony headphones & I love that!
Take to the gym everyday & rarely have to recharge. Better value than any other MP3 I looked at! Getting 2 more for Christmas gifts!

I will give it all 5 stars.. I like the buttons, easy to get around the menu.
the reason I got it on the walmart.com screen, it was cheaper than the ones in the store.
And You have a better color chose. Black, Red, and Blue. the stores only had two out
of three colors. Now my children want this one too. And they have Itunes.

Got this for Christmas and was only able to use it twice before it stopped working. Had to reset it. Did not want to charge from my computer after the first time, even though my computer had the software on it it still would not recognize it, so I had to go to sony and download it again. Charged it and used it again and it died after less than 30 minutes of play. Tried to reset it and charge it and it still didnt work. What a peice of junk for nearly 80 bucks. Will be getting a cheaper, no frills mp3 player next time, from a different company of course.

This thing is built to last. I have had it for 2 years and it's still going- no problems whatsoever. I have had mp3 players previously that quit after about the year mark. The interface on how to transfer music over is so easy. Also, it's very simple to make folders to organize your music. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a great value for their money!

I was looking to buy an iPod but saw this one in the store so I bought it and love it. It was so easy to download music from iTunes and the FM radio works great. Great sound. I have bought other MP3 players in the past and could not get the music to download. This is by far the best one yet.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. We already had one older version of it and were pleased so the fact that Sony continues to make it was helpful. My husband likes it not only for using it as an MP3 player during his gym workouts, but also as a radio hooked up to our wireless speakers throughout the house. I would buy this again if needed. It's nothing fancy but it suited our needs!
