The Rachael Ray Nutrish Beef and Rice dog food tastes good and also includes natural ingredients like rice and real beef, which make it nutritious. Extra virgin olive oil present in the dog food helps in keeping the dogs coat and skin healthy and shiny while calcium and antioxidants take care of their teeth, bones, and immune system. Since the Rachael Ray dog food doesnt contain chemical preservatives and artificial flavors, it comes with a unique, natural taste and it is completely safe for dogs. On the whole this nutrition dog food is specially formulated targeting the wellness and holistic health in dogs.
I went from Pedigree dog food to Rachael Ray beef dog food. We were looking for an affordable brand where meat is the first ingredient. Our dogs fell in luv with this brand. They are eating more and enjoying meal time.

My "girls" are nearly 10 years old and one is a fussy eater, while the other will eat anything, anytime, anywhere. So, until I found Nutrish, I've tried many different dry dog foods over the years and would have to stand over fussy to try and get her to eat! Now, I mix in a very small amount of water and swish around to make a quick gravy and can actually walk away and she finishes her entire dish within a few minutes; of course she still picks out each morsel and eats before picking out another. Now, with her sister, I put in half water because she scarfs down her food, and I wonder if she even appreciates the favor, but a testimony that it's the best she's ever had( at least for that meal) I've noticed my girls have more energy and sleep less and dig for gophers longer which suits me just fine too!

Great food. Good size and texture. My dog who is typically a grazer and a picky eater ate the entire bowl of it as soon as I filled it. I'm switching to this food!

I have 2 dogs. One is very finicky, one is picky. Mealtime meant dry food, with whatever creative addition I could add to entice them to eat. Food is important, as one food of less quality I was feeding them affected my older dogs arthritis to the point he could hardly walk. Switched food to a good brand and he got better immediately. However, the dogs didn't like the second food any better than the first. I got a free sample of Nutrish. The minute it went into their bowls, it was a hit. Ate it all in a matter of seconds. Amazing for these guys. It seems healthier than their previous food too. FYI, these aren't tiny fussy dogs. One is a Blue Pit and the other is a Golden Retrieve/Great Pyrenees mix. Also, a portion of the profits from Nutrish go to help animals in several well known no kill animal shelters. It's a win/win deal!

Purchasing Nutrish dog food

We were using Diamond dog food and had for some time but our dog began to act like he had digestive problems and we quit using Diamond. We found Nutrish and liked the ingedients in the product. Very little vegetable material and meat was the main ingredient. He is doing very well with the Nutrish and we will keep him on it. However, our store in Bolivar does not carry any Nutrish dog food. We wish they did because it would be very convenient for us to drive the 20 miles and buy Nutrish. But until they do we will have to order it from your warehouse because we are not going to feed our dog anything but good, healthy, clean dog food.

I have been feeding my 2 Pit bulls this food for a while now and they love it. I mix the dry with the Rachel Ray tub wet food and they absolutely love it. If you can afford to do it this way i highly suggest it. They get the best of both worlds. The tub wet food that Rachel Ray has is very nutritional, it has real veggies, meat, and pasta in it and when mixed with the dry your dogs will love it even more. Very good product, the only problem i run into is the stores around here have a hard time keeping it on the shelves. Absolutely the best

Doberman LOVED it!!

Well, my Doberman just scarfed down the entire sample bag in seconds, so I'll be getting more to see how she does on it. Her current food has no corn, no soy, and no wheat -- she has skin issues from time to time and the less "irritants" in her food, the better she does. But she's a little bored with her dry kibble at this point. As for taste and satisfaction -- she's thrilled with the beef flavor Nutrish!

We have 3 Great Danes and try to feed them healthy food. We Have bought other brands of dry that were up to $52.00 per 28 oz bag and they turned their noses up at it. When the Nutrish is brought out, it gets gobbled up. Go figure! We started buying Nutrish when part of the proceeds went to animal shelters and now it is the only dry food these picky eaters will eat. Great job Rachel!!!

I love my dogs like my children. When I started looking at what I was feeding them in their dogfood, I felt sick inside. I read about Rachel Ray's dogfood 'nurtish' and was excited for a healthy option that didn't cost an arm and a leg. It doesn't have any preservatives or fillers. Even expensive Iams has that! My dogs love it and it is good for both puppies and adult dogs. It shipped FREE to my home for the same price it would cost if I drove 20 miles to wal-mart too. The BEST part??....all her profits go to help abandoned animals. She doesn't take any! That is amazing and shows her love of animals also. Now, if only she would come up with some cat food options :) Thank you Rachel!!

Cheap Quality
Posted 04/15/2013
its a low quality food(2 stars out of 6).....slightly better than your typical grocery store dog food(Iams, ol roys). The only good thing is where the profits go(hopefully anyways). I know the good stuff(Wellness) is really expensive, but you can always try mixing the quality food with the cheaper stuff(even if its just a 75-25 split) or buy something in between like Newman's own. Not trying to be insensitive just passing along info.

I have researched a lot of dog food, but I was not impressed. They made my dogs sick. I usually add water to the dog food then put it in their bowls. They love it dry as a snack and a little moist at feeding time meals. I love this dog food. I also love that Wal-mart has ship to store, because that way I will never run out of the beef and rice which they like better than the chicken. I pray Rachael Ray doesn't change ingredients for quantity or quality. Best dog food you can actually go directly into the store and buy.......

Again, my two babies are very picky eaters. When we first adopted our first dog back in 2009, he was a puppy but when he was ready for dog food, we struggled to get him to eat. He hated dog food. So our 11-month search began. In the meantime, we bought puppy chow to mix with regular dog food so he would at least eat something. But obviously he was lacking nutrition, so we began mixing different types of dog food-- from most expensive to most nutrition. We finally came across this dog food! It was truly a blessing! My dog would literally go days without eating but when we mixed this brand with other brand he would somewhat eat, it was a hit! A year later, we had the same problem with our new member and he followed in his brother's footsteps. You can always tell when we are lacking Rachael Ray dog food in their mix b/c their food will sit in their bowls for about a day and half. As soon as we add this, they tear it up!

Yeah! I was happy (and surprised) to see that Rachael Ray had her name on some good dog food. The Beef and Rice comes in at a whopping 30% protein rating and has excellent ingredients as the first two. After that are some fillers and some corn products, but not enough to really hurt the kibble. A prebiotic or probiotic would have been a nice touch.

My dogs love this dog food
Posted 02/13/2012
I orginally would feed my dogs Dog Chow but after a while my Chocolate Lab would throw up almost everyday. I could not figure out why because I have been feeding him Dog Chow for almost three years and my other dog, a borader Collie, was having no problems. Well after trying to figure it out I decide to switch to this dog food after my sister told me her dogs loved it. So I switched them and guess what he has not thrown up sense. He has been on this food for about 3 months and he is happier and his coat is even shiner. They do not eat as much either. Even though I have to order it online I am happy I switched it.

I have an 8yr old Boxer and a 5yr old Papillon and recently switched their food to Nutrish after receiving a sample in the mail. They both love it and are making huge improvements. I see my Boxer being more playful than she has been in about 4 years and my Papillon's fur is a lot softer and his weight is finally under control. This food is a bit more expensive than I really could afford but knew that the added health benefits would be worth it in the long run. I have tried all kinds of other foods but have not been able to find one until now that my Boxer would eat really good for longer than a month or so. She is extremely finicky when it comes to her food but still continues to eat constantly and she has been on it for almost 7 months.

I got some of this for my dog and was putting half of this and half of her regular Iams in her bowl for the transition, she would nudge the Iams out of the way and only eat the Nutrish. She loves it!! No more Iams for her, plus I think this is cheaper than Iams anyway!!
