Crayola brand colored pencils are the best for coloring.
Unfortunately, the lead up in the shaft of the pencil is soft and tends to break if dropped (even in shipping when the package is handled roughly).

I bought these as I do floral design work and I like to sketch out my designs before I make them. By coloring them, it really helps. The colors were great and they sharpened nicely
