My mother has Alzheimers. I purchased this because it has 2 recievers. This allows me to work anywhere in my 2 story house and still be able to hear if she calls me. I placed the base behind her chair in the living room. I keep 1 reciever in the utility area of my basement and the other is by my bed. It is working exactly as I had hoped.

Simply put, this monitor works great. There is hardly any static and it's very easy to operate. I would always recommend a monitor with two receivers. One can stay on the nightstand plugged in and the other can move around the house or be taken outside. I bought this in-store for only $33. I don't know why it's so much higher online, so if you're interested I suggest you check in-store first.

Was very disappointed in the range. It advertises on the box that it reaches 2000 feet. When in fact, the monitor flashed red and was out of range within 200 feet.

I bought this for my daughter and son in law to use for their second child. They love it. The range is great. It reaches all over a two story home and even out to the back and front porch. The signal is clear and my daughter loves the optional features that you can turn on and off.

I really don't understand why some people hated it.. maybe they didn't properly set it up or charge it or have defective ones, but ours works perfectly. The sound is clear as a bell. No static whatsoever.

We bought this monitor because we needed 2 audio receivers with our two level home. We love how receivers can run on either battery or by plugging into the wall. They also have belt clips for taking around the house or outside. The receivers are also very clear and have volume control with vibration option. We would definitely recommend this product!!

This is the absolute best monitor ever. It has great distance which allows me to be outside with my other children, while baby is sleeping. I have never had any problems with the sound being too quiet. The vibration mode is also a positive addition.

Buzzing Makes Annoying Noise

This unit would be great except it buzzes. It buzzes louder if it is close to anything else electric -- which is difficult NOT to do since you have to plug it in most of the time. Even if it is not close to anything electrical, it buzzes... If annoying buzzing doesn't bother you, then you might like it.

My mother bought this set for our new addition. I have yet to use them, I'm not due til September, but we have already tried them out and we couldn't be happier with them. They are simple and easy to use and set up, they take up very little space. I love the fact the parent units can attach to a pocket or something similar and easily be taken with you without any hassle. The vibrate feature is a nice little extra. If your cleaning doing laundry etc and you don't hear your baby you can feel the vibe alert. It's nice to have peace of mind. My mom chose a great set to gift us with. Thank you Graco

Poor monitor system, Poor product!

I got this monitor set as a gift from my baby shower. We followed the directions on setting it up (not complicated!) The monitor kept losing signal ever since day one. It only did it a couple of times the first few weeks, but after week four it would lose signal constantly. I wrote to the Graco company and they said the product was defective and to send it back for a full refund. So I bought the identical monitor set. We again followed the complete directions and let the system charge fully for 16 hours. The first night we used it the parental unit turned off in the middle of the night and I woke up to hearing my baby screaming from down the hall way. I returned the unit again and I swear I will never buy a Graco product again. You will have no peace of mind with this monitor!

well I have been having some trouble with my monitor and came on here to see if anyone else had been turns out lots of people have. this monitor has freaked me out, it does all kinds of weird things, as one person said the one static, I can still hear my son though but I hear everything, if the cat happens to sneak in his room I get woken up hearing the cats heart beat in the monitor if he lays at the foot of my sons crib. (cat does not have any interest in climbing into crib he is old and fat so I'm not worried about him smothering my baby I know he wouldnt.) then it started virbrating for no reason, my cat acidentally unpluged it, which great that it hs a back up battery so it kept going but when it was unplugged it became extremely sensitive to noise and I could hear my baby breathing, any stirrs anything really loud causing it to vibrate and waking me up.

I love these montiors. You can hear your baby while you are in the next room, the kitchen, or even outside. The sound quality is good, you can hear them snore, cough, or move in the crib. You can also hear little conversations as they grow older. Gives peace of mind to mother or Grandma as you complete other necessary jobs around the house. This is an excellent Baby gift for new mothers.

Monitor worked great at first but the longer we have had it it just went downhill. Now it makes a lot of cracking noises and makes it really hard to sleep through. Sometimes it wont hold a charge and will start beeping like the battery is about to die even with it sitting on the charger.

We are on our second set and about to throw them away. Both times the monitors themselves stop working and will not turn on even if they are plugged into the wall. When the monitor is too close to the receiver it causes horrible static noise and wakes your child. I would recommend buying a different brand name!
