Really like the added space his room now has. If you have a pillow top twin it will come up to just below the side rail bars. I would recommend using a a regular twin or bunk bed twin mattress for this. Happy with my purchase.

was looking for a bed for my son to transition to from a toddler bed. it was the perfect bed for him. he is four and i was worried about it being to high for him but its perfect size and height for him. it took me 2 hrs to put together and it was pretty easy all my husband had to do when he got home was tighten the screws to make sure i had done it tight enough.

Although intimidating at first, the instructions to assemble this bed were very clear. You will need two people to complete the assembly. If it had not been for my error, we would have assembled it in less than an hour. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully. I accidentally assembled the bed with the ladder opening at the head of the bed (like in this picture)and had to redo (not what we wanted). I might point out that the parts that are plastic parts (pieces that hold the slats and separate the slats) are not intended to come apart after assembly and therefore if you make an error like I did-it is very difficult to disassemble.
I am very pleased with the end result-despite my mistake when first assembling.

My almost 6 year old is very pleased with his new bed, and I am pleased that he can now sleep in a bed that fits him AND our apartment.
Bonus is that the younger children love having their toys underneath the bed. With a bed sheet draped over the side, this bed also makes a great fort!
Do note that this bed is not as tall as a standard bunk. I am 5'1 and the top rail is just below eye-level. I was hoping for a taller loft bed, but this was by far the least expensive option I was able to find online.
Bonus is that the younger children love having their toys underneath the bed. With a bed sheet draped over the side, this bed also makes a great fort!

My husband and i got this bed for our son. He has so much toys and no space to play. So getting this bed it helped us fix that problem. It helps with storage and keeps the room looking nice. The only down fall about this bed is that my son is always complaining about the rails cause it hurts his feet when he has to get down and up the bed. so i would suggest getting one of those noodles and wrap that around it OR you can get something that foam like to wrap it. Either way that would help your child be a happy one.

I got the bed later than my delivery date, then it came with pieces that were broken and warped. It's been 2 weeks and I still don't have the replacement parts. Not walmarts fault but the manufacturer is awful.

This bed was a fantastic a great price. Very easy to put up and my boys love it. I actually used it as a bunk bed and placed a mattress and boxspring underneath for a second bed. By far the best investment looks great and very reasonable priced.

Since me and my son just moved into our new home I wanted him to have a new bed. I seen this one and immediately loved it. My son is 8 and he loves it. I put it together myself (no missing parts or broken pieces). It didn't take up as much room as I thought it would have so I had enough room to even put a love seat in his room. Very sleek design and affordable for my budget. Would definitely recommend this. And believe it or not, I put this bed together all by myself...

I purchased this for my 8 yr old son, a standard loft bed was to high, but this bed it the perfect height especially if u live in a trailer, and ur child has a tiny bedroom it opens up the floor space there is room for him 2 get up under there and play! I was concerned about the sturdiness of the bed but once it was 2 gether it is sturdy! The only complaint I have is the steps on the ladder hurt my sons feet...but tht is nothing tht can't be easily fixed! It was well worth the money! My son loves it!

My five year old loves his new bed. Clear directions and pretty simple to put together. Took aless an an hour and a half to do by myself. (I also had a 3 yr old and a 5 year old bouncing around me moving parts). It is good quality. The bars for support are close together so no need for a hunky board. He has a regular size twin mattress and there is still plenty of railing around to keep him safe. I love that it is about half the height of a bunk bed. It gives plenty of storage space. We have the feet of my other sons bed tucked under one side to make an L shape. It is also low enough to make his bed with ease.

I bought this bed for my 7 year old son's birthday. I did a whole room makeover for him. The bed is great. He loves it. We put a Your Zone mini futon underneath and it is the perfect fit.

We've only had this bed for a little over a week but so far, so good. I purchased this for my 12 year old son & he likes it a lot. Site-to-store option was great & the bed arrived faster than expected. Parts were packaged well & instructions were easy to follow. We took the advice of another reviewer & added curtains attached w/shower curtain hooks to give my son a quiet, private space for reading, playing his Nintendo 3DS or doing his homework. We choose black cafe curtains which came two in a package. We also got a pool noodle for the rungs of the ladder. My son used duct tape to secure the length of the pool noodle to keep it from falling off the rung. I keep telling him that I'm jealous & I would've loved to have a bed like this when I was his age!
My only minor complaint is that the bed seems a bit wobbly. Not sure if or how this can be fixed. I also attached some rubber adhesive grippers to the bottom of each pole so the bed wouldn't move that much &/or damage our newly refinished 57 year old hardwood floors.

Have a 3 and 5 yr old sharing a room and when i came across this, it was such a relief. Its not too high so the worry of my 5 yr old falling and getting hurt is minimal. My 3 yr olds twin bed fits perfect underneath it also. (w/o the bed frame though). Assembly was a sinch. Took about 30-40min. Very light. Was able to do everything by myself.
