My son is very happy. It is as expected. Instructions for assembling are also very detailed.

I was pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness of the frame. The height is perfect for our son (5 yrs old). We wanted something not to high off the ground, but high enough to play under. This is great for that. It had good instructions for putting it together. My husband did it in a couple hours. I love the fact that it has many support bars for the mattress. We ordered a memory foam mattress and it works great. The only thing I would change is the bars on the ladder are a little hard on the feet. Although, little ones don't seem to mind. Great bed frame for a great price.

We bought 2 of these beds for our girls ages 5 and 6. They wanted to share a room after we moved. We thought this would be better than bunk beds incase they ever wanted their own room. They love their beds! We let them pick out material and make them a "hide out" underneath. The beds were easy to put together, are very sturdy and the weight limit is 200+. Would buy again!!!

It was a serious pain to put together, but it seems sturdy enough for a child. The ladder feels like it should have a bit more "stability"...and certainly flatter rungs, but my 5 year old daughter loves it.

I'll keep it short and sweet - it had a few more pieces to put together than I thought, however it took about 2hrs for 1 guy and the included wrench to put together. Very sturdy, looks good, and my 7 year old daughter loves to get creative with it (she hangs blankets on the sides to make the bottom into a club house lol) And for 119.00, this was a great deal, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

It was fairly easy to put together and it looks really good in my daughters room. I really researched beds before ordering this one. I am really glad that I did. It is good quality and will last for a long time. My daughter really loves sleeping in it and it isn't too high. We have two doll houses under it. I would recommend this bed. It is easier to put together if you have help but not impossible to do alone, just harder.

Originally we bought the regular Doral loft bed for my 11 year old. Since this one said "junior" we thought that it would be more fitting for our 3 year old however when the first bed arrived it was WAY too tall for our ceilings so it had to be torn apart and taken back. Upon further investigation on this "junior" bed I saw the weight limit is actually high enough for big kids and adults so we decided to give it a try. It arrived quickly and is much more "sturdy" feeling than the higher frame we originally purchased. We used the twin mattress from her old bed. Went together quickly with my hubby's use of power tools and my daughter squealed with glee when she saw it. Not tall enough for the bigger kids to put desks etc under but she made it a play area and wow, did it open up her otherwise small room. We are going to buy two more, one for our 17 and one for our 3 year old. Some stated that the foot rails were uncomfortable but neither my daughter or 3 year old (he can't help from wanting to play in my daughter's room now, because of her cool bed) complained about it at all. My hubby and I both went and sat on the bed when he first put it together and he is about 140 and me 180 (yes, I'm fluffy so be quiet) and it held us great! I totally recommend for kids, teens or adults that are in need of space saving and as an added bonus our small isn't able to jump on her bed anymore.

I really can't say anything bad about this bed. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. My 3 year old son loves it. He loves to play underneath the bed and it gives his small room lots more storage! He has always slept in his own bed and we had no trouble switching him to this bed. We have had it for a week.

I brought this loft bed for my grandsons playroom, so when they have company they will have some where to sleep. Well every since the bed has been put together the oldest has stopped sleeping in his own bed and has taking to the loft bed. The younger one love the bottom part which my daughter put curtains around to make them a fort. The bed is a big hit. The boys love it. Their ages are 5 and 7.

My daughter wanted a loft bed but most were too tall for the ceiling in her bedroom. This bed is the perfect height and she still gets the loft look and feel that she wants. It is a sturdy bed and the assembly was a snap. Just need a lot of space to set out all the parts. Each piece is clearly marked and the step-by-step instructions with both words and pictures are very helpful. I am waiting for my other daughter to request one! I feel that I should also mention that I had ordered the gray colored bed and was disappointed when I received a black colored one instead. I worked with Walmart Customer Care and we were easily able to work out a resolution.

I got the bed today, easily put it together, very sturdy and the height is perfect. I was concerned when I ordered it, about the size. But, it is perfect for our 5 year old. the three feet under the bed makes a great playroom. and with a little imagination it could be a little fort. The height is perfect for us parents too, don't have to bend over and its not to high to tuck our little one in. Oh, and our son loves it too.

We bought this bed after another one we bought fell apart in a month . my daughter is 5 and we wanted something to make her feel special. I also wanted to make her a play house underneath. this bed is great. it is very sturdy. the only downside is the ladder hurts feet when going up or down. but it can easily be fixed by pipe covers or a pool noodle

They call it "silver" but it is more of a military gray. I would not trust it for kids over 150 pounds as it is not extremely sturdy. The packaging is not that good so be prepared to order replacements for damaged pieces...we had to do this multiple times. The ladder hurts mom and dad's feet when climbing, but the kids have no problem. Overall, we are very pleased with the bed.
