Review 1 for Better Homes and Gardens Cast-Iron 6-Qt. Covered Dutch Oven
I have used this on several occasions, and actually it exceeded my expectations. It went from stovetop to oven, cleaned up well , and was attractive enough to use to serve from.

Review 3 for Better Homes and Gardens Cast-Iron 6-Qt. Covered Dutch Oven
Had a small chip in the top inside edge. Didn't affect it's purpose and too small to waste the time to send back. I've used it on the stove and in the oven and it works as advertised.

Review 4 for Better Homes and Gardens Cast-Iron 6-Qt. Covered Dutch Oven
This product is exceptional - looks great - cooks great! And it holds a ton of soup (currently have a pot of Italian Peasant Bean Soup cooking away). It's BIG - it's heavy - it looks awesome. One reminder - be sure to coat the exposed cast iron around edge of the pot and edge of the top. Lard is best, but Crisco will do. Then season in your stove for 2-3 hours at 250F.
Wonderful addition to my cooking gear.

This was reviewed on America's test kitchen and rated the best, I was surprise to inquire where to get and found it at WalMart. Great for soups, stews and beans. I got the yellow and it is a great color pot functions as required and easy to clean.

Great cast iron pot for a great price! For some reason the price was lower online than in the store, maybe different brand? Anyway, nice heavy pot, even cooking. Looks nice.

Review 8 for Better Homes and Gardens Cast-Iron 6-Qt. Covered Dutch Oven
I've dropped the lid (cast iron is heavy!) a few times without any chips or anything breaking. I absolutely love my dutch oven. I just wish they didn't use such a light interior color because it stains after almost every use. I'm a little OCD and like keeping it looking like brand new. A little baking soda soak/scrub works well enough though :-)

Review 10 for Better Homes and Gardens Cast-Iron 6-Qt. Covered Dutch Oven
Compared in value to other products of this type, value can not be beaten. I also purchased one as a gift. Great for cooking, gives better flavor to the food cooked in it. Makes wonderfully fluffy rice.

Does what it is supposed to de very well and the price was great! The only issue I had was "seasoning" the uncoated rims of the pot and lid which proved to be more difficult than I thought it would be.

BH&G Cast Iron Covered Dutch Oven kiwi lime/yellow

I was a little skeptical because this is BH&G product with the impression of an overly marketed cheap product. But, boy was I surpised! Excellent packaging with spacers included. The weight is excellent for a cast iron pot. the rims are evenly distributed iron coating. The bottom is nice and smooth to slide across my granite countertop. I have both the Kiwi and yellow pots. The yellow enamel color should've been more Dijon than the two toned appearance. I think the enamel on the rim of the lid should've been more sustainable than any where else on the pot because of the handling when seasoning or standing on a dish rack. I had a small pit of a chip on the lid's rim. It is not a big deal. I will still use this pot with great joy. I have made a seafood gumbo and Lamb Stew which turned out superb in my Yellow Dutch oven. No other issues. Both the Yellow and the Kiwi just make my black and stainless steel stove top look festive no matter what I am making. I also can not wait to purchase more of the same colors and Red

I bought this dutch oven after much research and am very glad I did. I don't know about you guys, but I can't afford the "name brand" $300 dutch oven. The reviews were just as good on this one as the high dollar one so I thought I would give it a try, and with Walmart's excellent return policy what did I have to lose? I'm very happy with my purchase. It cooks great, stove top or oven, holds heat well and evenly distributed, and super easy to clean up. The handle is metal, which I like, instead of the plastic stuff.

Chipped on first use.

We were thrilled to see it! It is beautiful! The price was great too! And then it happened...it chipped! Made a batch of Chicken and Dumplings with no metal utensils and took great care. We had friends over and all of a sudden, my friend asked me if I had deboned the chicken. She pulled it out and found a fleck of the enamel! Rinsed the pot and there it was...the problem area! Took it back for a refund. I do realize this is a common issue, so we ordered another and the enamel was very thin in some areas. Refunded again. Will try a different brand with fingers crossed.

Absolutely Wonderful!

I have been wanting a dutch oven for some time now and could not afford a $300 version. I bought this on clearance Monday free ship to store pickup and although it said it would be here around the 20th I received it 2 days later! The enamel does not need to be seasoned but you want to put oil on the top and the bottom of the cover where they meet to season the cast iron. You put it in a 350 degree oven for an hour and its done. I used it tonight to make the most wonderful stew, it came out absolutely perfect! I have no complaints and it is nicely made that I will be leaving it out on the stove top.

I love this dutch oven. The looks, the feel, the quality. But, I am almost 70 and it is a very, very heavy dutch oven. So, I can only use it when my husband is home. I'm sure it will last my lifetime!
