I have been searching for a small radio with a clock, to keep in the bathroom that is simple to use, and this one is great! For a small radio it has great sound, and a clean look. I would highly recommend this to a friend.

I WAS SO EXITED ABOUT THIS NOAA RADIO, I PICK IT UP FROM THE STORE BUT WHEN I CAME HOME TO USE MY NEW RADIO, IT DIDN'T WORK... JUST LIKE THIS, NO SOUND AT ALL, NO SIGNAL, NO INTERFERECE EITHER... SO I CAME BACK IMMEDIATELY TO THE STORE TO RETURN THE RADIO.

No buzz! Digital tuner is an excellent feature; WPR band in Weston is quite narrow. Directions we're precise; diagrams were quite small and challenged my bifocals. Simple operation. Sound quality is quite good for a smaller radio. I haven't tried battery backup yet.

Bargain digital tuner, plus weather band and a good speaker. Option to use batteries, too. The clock could be a bit more readable with backlighting if using as a clock radio on ac, but it is ok.

Used it at deer camp in upper Michigan Nov 2012. Received two stations on FM hooked up to an outside anntana and got over 12 stations on FM. Received weather stations with no problem w/o outside anntana. Best radio we have had in camp in years. Same batteries lasted all week and played radio 8 to 10 hours a day.

This radio performs very well. I like the digital tuning - it is not necessary to keep turning a tuning dial to receive a radio station without interference - set the AM or FM frequency and receive optimum performance. The operation of the radio and all its features is a little complex so it is necessary to carefully read the instruction manual and keep it handy for those of us that sometimes experience senior moments. Another feature that I like and is one of the reasons that I purchased this radio is the earphone jack. I like to use the radio during the night along with a pillow speaker. Works great! The NOAA feature also works very well.

I ordered 2 of these radios for my mother for Christmas. She requested 2 small portable radios, one for when she has to go to the basement during severe storms. These are perfect, as they have an electric cord and also battery power if the electric goes out. She was very happy receiving these. She was extremely frustrated not being able to locate anything like this in the store. I had them shipped directly to her, which saved me money and a trip to the post office
