This cordless phone handset is easy to use and stores plenty contact numbers. A large 100 name/number phonebook directory lets you store all your contacts. In this hands-free handset speakerphone, you can adjust and control the volume of the handset and ringer as well. It has a host of other features too along with hearing aid compatibility. An extra large white backlit LCD displays large black font for easy interface. This energy compliant phone also has English, French, and Spanish setup menu. This DECT 6.0 Accessory Handset provides last 20 number redial along with 10 number speed dial. The visual ringing indicator, flash, and any key answer will make receiving incoming calls very simple. This phone has a voicemail waiting indicator to notify you. Call transfer via intercom is possible between handsets.

Product description by Wal*Mart DID NOT adequately and and clearly describe this as an add on to a fully operational phone package. And, it was the second one I've purchased of this type, so I tried to be discerning.

I don't know how far I can travel from the base with the phone but it works inside the home without any problems. The numbers are a good size as is the lettering inside the phone that lights up when you receive a call so you can see who it is.
