The Emerson Karaoke WM173 Wireless Headset Microphone with Corded Microphone is lightweight and inconspicuous. It can barely be seen when worn and produces great sound from the condensor microphone frequency and transient response and louder sound than dynamic microphones. But for the entertainer who likes the feel of a handheld microphone, a dynamic microphone with a nine-foot cord is also included. You can connect either microphone to a transmitter, clipped on your belt.

microphone was broken when recieved product, and wireless headset did not work, i got it to work one time, then the receiver wouldnt work at all. VERY, VERY POOR product!!! I would suggest not purchasing this item!

At first, I was a little nervous about purchasing this set, having never purchased a headset before, and also because I have never purchased something I was not sure if it would work with my karaoke machine. ...but it did fine in both areas! :)
I am pleased to say that it is a great product! For future purchasers, please note that the headset & microphone have different sensitivity when it comes to the microphone volume that is set. For example, on my karaoke machine there is a volume for Microphone 1 & Microphone 2. I personally use the Microphone 1 jack so I will use that in my example. So, the Microphone 1 jack's volume needs to be adjusted accordingly for each device. The headset is a bit more sensitive than the microphone, so therefore the volume needs to be a bit lower when it comes to the headset.
So if you get a sensitivity sound, like when you put a microphone to close to the speaker, remember to lower the volume associated with the microphone/headset & that should help.
The sound when singing into the microphone & headset are both very nice, and very clear, in my opinion.
