This product did not live up to the product description or the picture. I was under the impression that this karoke machine came with a mp3 player, it only comes with the adapter for a mp3 player and it does not play cd. I went to the store and bought cds for my daughter to sing along with. they are useless with this product. So i returned it and bought her the one for the wii.

I got this karoke machine for my grand daughters. We got it, turned it on and it worked fine for 10 minutes. Then, for no reason it went dead. We tried everything. Batteries, outlets, microphone, etc. never came back on. I had to return it. Anyway, the girls were very upset because they were having a good time. Won't order another one like this.

I always found it was the cd. take it out and put it back in. Also ,,,,,it will not work with a cd not in it!!!!!!

Good Karaoke system except one issue

I tried this karaoke player. It is very portable and the sound is good. But, the system that I got had an issue. The audio out was not working as it is supposed to work. As soon as I connect the audio jack, the mic inputs will not be mixed with the music track. So, this unit may not work for you, if you want to connect to an external audio system. Though just with its internal speaker, everything worked fine.

I bought the HD515 and SD512 for gifts. Have been playing with both for a couple weeks. Good sound and convenient MP3 players that hold hundreds of songs. Both are more for kids but anyone wanting to play with a microphone will have fun with them.
