I am going to use the Emerson Karaoke and Guitar Amplifier to sing with in Church. The Karaoke does more than what I want it to do. I am very impressed with the product. It sounds great. The bass is great. I don't use the other features on the Karaoke. I might consider having keyboard training later. And I will be able to connect the keyboard to the amplifier.

This unit is good for semi-professionals Karaoke Wanna-bees and I was overall ok with the basic operations. However, I returned to the store because I could not get the USB port to recognize or respond to the flash drive. I learned, after the fact, that the system was not compatible with all flash drives so I used 3 different types with no success. I received one email from Tech Support and then all communication went silent. Another shocker is that the docking station is not compatible with the latest ipod/iphone4 designs. The 3rd generation (speaker connection at bottom of iPOD) is the correct model to use, otherwise, you will not be able to connect to the system and use the docking cradle. As reported earlier by others, the mic, music and volume controls has to be mixed painstakingly, but ok if you like living on the edge. I liked the sound but there were too many things working against me keeping the unit.

it works great. I did what I read in reviews about the sound and it worked perfectly. The only thing that it lacks of is ¨pitch¨, but it´s ok. The sound is perfect and it was the best price that I found for the same product.

Unfortunately, Not Very Good

We purchased this unit to be used with a small Karaoke group at a local school. The unit seemed to be built fairly well and solid, Expecially for the price. The CD player worked great! The music was crisp and loud and didnt seem to have any issues with skipping. But, unfortunately, when you add the microphones to this unit the volume of the mics were really low, and the quality of the sound became sub standard-- We tried using different types of Mic, thinking that it just might be the quality of the microphones. But, still the mic sound was very poor and and muffled. You can barely hear the singers over the music- We promptly returned the unit. . .

Awesome player! It's like having all the equipment of the professionals in this portable machine! Learning to mix the the mic levels to the music is a little tricky, but with a little practice, you'll be amazed with it's sound! The remote is needed to mix the mic to the music (not explained in the manual) .The volume buttons on the remote control will adjust the music only. The master volume control is on the amplifier controls on the side of the unit. Start out with your music volume set low. Start singing while increasing your microphone volume to the level you feel comfortable with. Then increase your music volume to match your voice. Once you find the perfect level, adjust the master volume to desired level. With a little practice you'll be sounding like the professionals!
