I got this watch in the hopes that it would and will be durable enough to withstand my rather active life. So far it has done a bang up job. (pun intended) :) I have done all sorts of things with it on, including climbing onto and jumping off of the roof of my house. (don't ask) I haven't had it for very long, but it is meeting all my expectations so far.

Ten year battery dies before one year.

I bought one watch about two years ago. In a little more than a year it stopped working. I tried to replace the battery but couldn't figure out how to remove it so I bought a new one (same model) because I liked the watch. The "ten year" battery lasted less than six months. I took it to a shop to have the battery replaced and the proprietor told me it is a rechargeable battery but he had no idea how to recharge it. I guess it is a case of two strikes and I'm out.

Casio again makes a great watch. They are keep perfect time. The only thing wrong is the mineral glass which scratches very easily. Analog + digital + 30 phone no directory + 10 year battery. How much more can you ask for $19!

The only problem I found with the watch is that the instruction booklet is so small, I had a lot of trouble trying to set up the watch. I would suggest Casio print a larger print booklet for those of us that have trouble reading small print.

Instruction manual is very difficult to interpret. Watch is more "high tech" than my husband needed. It took him hours of trying to get things set and he's still not finished but has what features he needs. But it is a good looking watch!

Very good price for a full-featured watch. The bad news is that the user manual is very long and simple things like changing the time for Daylights Savings is a lengthy process. No sweep second hand means you have to figure out how to put it in Timer mode if you are clocking anything. All the features are there, it's just not easy to figure them out. Add a plastic base painted silver, a very soft plastic window, and this watch is about what you expect for the price.

I have 4 stars for the value since it doesn't cost a fortune. It is a good watch to have for everyday use. It can take a few knocks pretty well. I have 3 stars for the overall quality since the battery lasted less than 2 years. I would have liked to give just 2 stars, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Analog and digital watches can be set for different times (that way you don't have to go through the world times). This specially works well if you are on the border of different time zones.

I bought this watch for the looks, price and good reviews. I have had a number of compliments on the look of this watch. What I like about it, aside from the look, is the accuracy of the time. After a couple weeks now, it is still within a second of the exact time from time.org. The directions for shortening the band was non existant. I looked on youtube to figure it out. It does come with good instructions to set it and how to do the things that it will do. I have used the stop watch, timer, alarm. It really was a great value! One thing I am a little disappointed with is the hands glow in teh dark but not for very long. However, it does have a light and that works great. I hope the battery lasts the 10 years that it is supposed to.

I had the predecessor model of this watch for several years. The only reason I replaced it is that after about 4 years, the watch ceased to be totally waterproof and would get some condensation in it when I went to the pool or beach. Even so, it usually cleared up rather quickly and has always kept great time. I expect the same or better with my replacement. The black face is very nice, and makes the watch look a bit more upscale (although it still is for casual use). I also really like the metal band. My Casio watches from yesteryear had the plastic bands, which would inevitably break long before the watch stopped working. BTW, the metal band was easy to adjust using a small nail. I found a You Tube video which made it quite easy.
