Review 1 for Little Tikes Double Duty Engine & Workbench

Received this from a friend a while ago; she was moving and clearing out space for their new apartment. However, she didn't have any of the tools or accessories that went with it - we do have the engine block. I have been trying to find replacement tools or accessories that go with it, without having to buy a whole new bench, but can't seem to find any!! All in all, it's a great product, my son LOVES it, and I would recommend it for any toddler aged or young boy that is into tools, etc. My fiance is a mechanic, and my son loves having a mechanic work bench with an engine on it just like "dada" has out in the garage #only it's a safer more kid friendly version# !! Definitely worth it, my son is two right now, and I know he will still be using it 2-3 years down the road, and maybe even longer than that!! If I can't find any of the tools that come with it new, I will DEFINITELY invest in buying my son a brand new one that comes with all the tools & accessories. Totally worth it!!

I bought this for my grandson's 3rd birthday...he received several toys and I didn't get it put together until last night (2 mos late). He and his 5yr old brother have been playing with this every waking moment since. A great toy!! It is a little expensive but I have to say it's worth it...lots of things to do and they can both work on it at the same time.

I bought this workbench for my son's first birthday. I know he seems a little young to be playing with that type of toy but he really enjoys it. He loves the tools that he can use to screw the engine down onto the table. It took him a week to figure out exactly how to use the it but after daddy sat down and explained he was all over it!!! The only thing that I was disappointed with was how easily he can tip it over. It doesn't seem to be quite as sturdy as some of the others I looked at, but my son really likes it!

After buying another workbench at another store and having a huge hassle with them I returned it and found this one. "Santa" left this for my little guy and he absolutely loves it! It even exceeded my expectations with the sounds and the drill actually "drills" not just makes noise. Great gift for a child who loves to tinker around :)

Pretty complicated for the age group.Accessories don't have a lot of storage for them.Once you get to a 6 year old that can figure out were everything goes they probably wouldn't have much fun with it.

Review 6 for Little Tikes Double Duty Engine & Workbench
lots of pieces/good toy

I bought two of these for Christmas for my nephew (2) and godson (3). I am not sure about my godson, but my nephew loves it. I will just say that it has a lot of pieces and patience during assembly is requiered. Also, although i bought for my 2 y/o nephew- i consider him mature enough that i trust he will play with it appropriatelyl. If you have a young-toddler or baby, it has many pieces and will not be a good toy for kids who put things in their mouth.

We bought this for our 3 year old son and it has stood up very well. A good piece with lots of pieces to play with. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the legs are a little wobbly when he drags it across the floor. However, it is strong enough to stand up to him running into it and piling toys and tools on it. Pretty good value for the purchase.

This Little Tikes workbench was a worthwhile purchase. My 3 year old grandson loves taking it apart and putting it back together. He already knows what all the tools are for and all the motor parts ! I highly recommend this workbench.

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves it. The tools are very realistic, the drill even has a removable battery pack. His daddy who loves to work on cars likes it too, they work on the engine together.

My two year old grandson loves the work bench with tools just like his dads. Tools can't be more realistic and the bench is well built for pounding and wrenching.... His dad was a bit challenged when putting the bench together tiny screws on the leg inserts, get your cheaters out. This one will be located in the garage during the summer months right along side Dads. You won't be disappointd in the quality.

The only problem we had with the workbench was with the screws that hold it together, they were small and hard to work with. Other than that my 2 yr old son loves it. He finally has tools like daddy.

I bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas and he loves it! It comes with a removable "motor" that he works on and a lot of tools and accessories. He plays with it all of the time and carries his tools around with him when I am working on things around the house. Great Product and very durable. I bought a "Black & Decker" tool bench for him to play with at my parents house and he loves that too. I would spend the extra money and get the Little Tikes tool bench though. My nephews that are a little older play with it too and enjoy it.

My child loves this toy and the tools are very realistic. The hard part is the work to put it together or to convert from workbench to engine. You have to actually take things apart so he can not switch back and forth himself. Other than that it is a great option for around 3 years old.
