Ninja Ninja Master Prep Food Processor
The Ninja Master Prep Food Processor is a multi-purpose kitchen appliance that operates as a blender and a food processor. Equipped with the patented Ninja Blade cutting technology, the food processor slices and dices vegetables into any size you desire. The 1-touch pulse operation and the twin-blade cutting technology accommodate variable cutting sizes. The longer you pulse, the finer the cut. The blender makes restaurant-style ice cream and smoothies a reality at home. The dual blades make quick work of crushing ice, and an easy flip pour spout allows you to serve from the pitcher. Both the pitcher and the food processor are driven by an interchangeable motor head, which means you can multitask between chopping vegetables and making smoothies. With separate covers and no-slip bottoms, the pitcher and bowls are easy to store and refrigerate. All the parts are dishwasher safe. Works very well for the price! I was more than please with its performance. I've bought blenders/processors in the past that would leave chunks of ice/veggies in my half blended food/drink. This blends everything in a very short amount of time. Great Value/Great Product!

I used this product daily to make green smoothies. Ingredients include spinach, kale, beet greens, apples (with skin) celery, frozen strawberries, pineapple and finished with yogurt and water. This product was nothing less than spectacular for 4 weeks. Then i noticed the texture started to change, for example I would find myself chewing on apple skins. Then at about 6 weeks I noticed that the leafy greens were not breaking down, the texture was like soggy fish food flakes at the top. I suspect this is do to the blades starting to dull and the motor getting tired. I used this product as recommended not pulsating for over 15 sec for any one time. I'd recommend keeping your receipt and box and trading it in monthly for as long as you can.

I have used this for all sorts of things, and it is so much better than a regular blender. I have had no issues thus far, and don't foresee any. Extremely durable. I have five kiddos, two dogs, and other various small animals. I have done something for each of them using this. :)

I use the Ninja Master Prep Food Processor primarily for making frozen drinks and smoothies. It's good points -- it's quiet, easy to put together and store away. It takes much longer to make smoothies than my previous smoothie maker, and takes a long time to mix all the ingredients together. The pitcher is made of plastic, not glass, but it is dishwasher safe. The mixing lid does not give you a way to add ingredients or liquids, and it does not lock onto the pitcher, so it sometimes falls off when you're trying to pour from it. The storage lid is a nice addition, and so is the fact that there are two sizes of mixing elements (bowl, pitcher). The blades are obviously very sharp, and caution must be taken to clean them either by hand or in the dishwasher. I would have preferred to buy the same product I had before, but could not find it at WalMart.

I fell in love with the Ninja when I saw the infomercial, I had to have it. A couple of months passed and my children decided they had heard me talk about it long enough so they bought me one for mother's day. I only used the smaller processor for a long period of time so when I used the larger pitcher was not happy. I discovered in the pitcher, with my food, plastic shavings from the gasket. I emailed Ninja and they referred me to another number. I didn't even bother. I believe in customer service, since they didn't care to replace my ninja I will never buy another one. I was considering I possibly got a defective item and may buy one more, however after reading the many reviews with the same problem, I will not.

I am trying the Paleo Eating Plan and this tool helps with the 'natural' ingredients used. It is versatile, powerful (to chop and puree the toughest foods like fresh pineapple and apples), easy to use and easy to clean. I am verry happy with my purchace. Walmart has the best price as well.

I like that it chopped /mixes from the top down. I love that the blades are removable! It makes it so easy to get the chopped/mixed contents out of the prep-bowl/pitcher! I like the two sizes(pitcher and bowl). I am extremely happy with the price and this great kitchen tool!

The machine worked very well for me for about 7 months. I have no problem with crushing ice or making thick smoothies with this machine. I also prepared a lot of foods in this item. I never did any meat in my machine but I am sure it would be no problem. I have had two ninjas and the first the blade went dull. Which was not a big deal since I used it so much. I didn't know at the time that I could just buy a new blade online on their website. I got a second set from my husband for a little gift. . . I thought well maybe this time I will just be more careful with it. I was but things starting falling off of it. The center rubber piece that the blade goes through to set the cover on wore out on all three units. So of course it can no longer be used. Also all the rubber pieces on the machine came off. . Disappointing. Can no longer use. I am thinking of getting the bigger blender. Maybe its made better.

About a year ago I purchased the Ninja XL Master Prep Professional Blender, NJ600 for around $80 at my local Walmart. I liked it pretty well, but it was kind of a pain to clean and was rather large for my needs. It ended up breaking after a month or so, so I took it back. I wanted to start making smoothies again, so I went to go by a blender. I saw this one and was immediately intrigued. I had been needing a small food processor as well, so I thought double whammy, and for only $40?! I was excited, but a little skeptical because the price was so low. However, this things really is awesome! It's so easy to use that my 7 year old son can make his own smoothies! The clean up is incredibly quick. The blades are so sharp that it demolishes ice NO problem. I've only had a couple of times where I have had to move the food around for it all to get mulched, but most of the time it gets it all in a snap! LOVE this thing and would recommend it to anyone. You just can't beat the price either!

When i took the ninja out of the box i was imoressed by how sturdy it felt the chopper is nice thick material but the blender/smoothie/daquari maker is the best. I make protein shakes 2 meals a day every day and use lots of ice, i like it the consistency of a smoothie or a daquari! I also made pitches of daquaris consistently all weekend for a group! The blades are very sharp and with 2 sets of blades it doesnt leave chunks like most others do. For the last year i have been using the personal westinghouse and it has been terrific but it is wearing out fast. ( it was only $15) but i just very little ice in it compared to what i am able to use in the ninja!!
