Keep your driveway clean, clear and free of cold winter snow with the Snow Joe Ultra SJ62013.5 Amp Electric Snow Blower. This large electric snow blower delivers the power of a gas machine with the convenience of an electric snow blower unit. Pivoting wheels make it easy to turn and maneuver the Snow Joe Ultra, while its durable steel rotor can clear up to 2150 sq. ft. per hour. Plus, this powerful electric snow blower features a chute deflector, which helps you easily control the height of your snow stream. The Snow Joe Ultra is your smart electric snow blower solution this winter.
The day after I picked up the Snow Joe, we had seven inches of wet snow. I did my driveway and my 88-year old neighbor's drive, then let two of my neighbors borrow it. Everybody was impressed. Because the snow was pretty deep and very wet, we had to overlap the finished areas a little more and only do about eight inches at a time. But it sure beat shoveling and saved me a lot of time. The snow got clogged in the blower a few times, but once I figured out why it wasn't working, it was easy to get it out and continue.

VERY EASY TO USE. LOOKS LIKE IT IS TOO SMALL TO DO THE JOB, BUT I PLOWED THROUGH TEN INCHES OF SNOW VERY EASILY. EASY TO TURN THE CHUTE WITH CRANK HANDLE. THREW THE SNOW EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED. NO GAS, NO OIL NO PRIMING, JUST PLUG IT IN AND GO. I AM USE TO A LAWN MOWER WITH CORD SO IT WAS NO PROBLEM SO I KNOW HOW TO MANEUVER IT SO YOU DON'T RUN OVER CORD, EASY WHEN YOU GET USE TO IT. THIS IS THE BEST SNOW BLOWER FOR WOMEN TO USE ( LIGHTWEIGHT AND EASY TO USE).

Review 4 for Snow Joe Ultra SJ620 13.5 Amp Electric Snow Blower
I purchased this due to it being on clearance. I was surprised to find out how lightweight and easy to use it is. It worked great after the big snow storm we got where he had around 9" of snow. Seems to work better than the competitions big heavy metal ones. This one cleared a better path all the way down to the driveway. It is perfect for us.

After having two snow storms in a week that dumped a total of 20 inches of snow, i decided i needed some help. Saw this snow blower advertised for 99 bucks on line and thought it would be worth the risk. It was great! I couldnt believe the power this little thrower had. Cleared my drive in nothing flat, it had about 12 or 14 inches of snow left in it. Cut a path to the wood pile out back, that took awhile, but no bending to lift a shovel full of 20 pounds of wet snow. Have to admit it is a back and fourth motion, three feet forward and pull back, it will do the job. I then thought i would try the snow and slush the county piled up in front of the drive. I was kind of afraid i would tear the little thing up, but to my surprise it chewed it up and spit it out in the street, not far because it was wet slop, but it did the job. I put the muscle behind it in the yard for about 10 feet, the harder i pushed the further it threw the snow. The motor groned but nerve stopped chewing it up. This stuff was deep too! The only issue is, if you venture out past 50 feet, you will need to spend about 70 bucks for a 12 guage extension cord. Anyone who says it is too much work and wont do a decent job, is looking for one to grow legs and do all the work its self. Its just a tool, but i was impressed.. See how long it lasts, but with a two year warranty must be built pretty good.

Ok i want to thank everyone for putting their comments on this product.. I was a lil skeptical at first but with the reviews and the price, I figured i cant go wrong. I live in CT and today is 2/11/13 we just had over 30 inches of snow!! The worst blizzard in history! I finally used my snow blower! Ok so i was a little embarrased to take this blower out because everyone around me had the "Ariel, John deer, craftsman blowers) lol.. BUT!! This amazing "toy" was my life saver! It really did the job!!!! My son took the shovel and lowered the snow and i was right behind him and it just picked the snow with no problem! up to 4 inches at a time! by the time i finished with my long driveway, I was so proud of it!!! lol... My sister just went to home depo and purchased an $800 blower and mine did the same as hers! The difference was about $650 less!! hahahah... Go ahead and buy this blower, u will deffinately not regreat it! (just remember the cord is a lil in the way but no biggy!)

I bought my Snow Joe last year, but had such a mild winter that I only used it once. I didn't want to write a review with only having used the product one time. This winter has been pretty snow filled for me, so it's time to write my review. I have used it 4 times this winter, I absolutely love it! It's easy to operate, relatively light, does a great job & costs so much less than a gas snow blower. It does take a little longer to power through large amounts of snow, but being patient & allowing the machine to do it's job is no big deal to me. It really throws the snow a good 8 feet or more, cleans right down to the pavement. I see that the price has dropped about $100 since I bought mine, so for anyone out there reading this I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you order this ASAP! There is no need to kill yourself shoveling when this great working product is so cheap. Excellent value & quality for the money.

I finally was able to use mine after a heavy snow storm this week. The snow was at least 12" or more in spots. It handled it well and throws the snow a good distance. Pretty powerful. Mine came with the Snow Joe '50 foot heavy duty lighted extension cord. It definitely took a lot of the backbreaking work out of my shoveling. The cord takes a little getting used to. I find that tilting the handle up so the wheels are a bit off the ground does a better job at clearing the snow all the way down to the asphalt. I paid $140 for mine but now I see they have it for $99. Definitely a bargain at that price. Just make sure you use the proper heavy duty extension cord with it.

Winter storm Nemo is gone and left behind almost 30 inches of wet/dry snow. Dry on top, wet on the ground. Hubby used the snow blower first time and he was thrilled Took quite a while to clear part of the driveway around two cars, but way better than shoveling! Only clogged once. Used very long extension cord that allowed him to go to the street and to the mailbox. Not loud. Sounded like a vacuum. Will tell friends.

So I am using this in the east coast blizzard on long island as I type this. I got very lucky with this machine. I found it at a local store that could not figure out why they had it (wasn't listed in inventory online or in their system). Turns out it was shipped in error. I was able to speak with the store manager who was very nice and gave me the online price. It is smaller but an absolute work horse. I have been out twice cutting 10+ inches at a time. Threw the snow close to the 20' advertised. Slow and steady wins the race with this little beast. Be careful of the wire... cut a brand new extension cord in pieces in the first 10 minutes lol. Luckily no issue with machine and I had extra cord. Once you learn to work around the cord you are in business. This isn't made for a circle long driveway but handled my 3 car drive like a scrapy little monster.

Overall it did a great job in the snow. I liked the fact that I did not have to cut it on and off. I was a little irritated with the cord but with some minor adjustments it worked out wonderfully and the snow is gone.

Review 18 for Snow Joe Ultra SJ620 13.5 Amp Electric Snow Blower
I first bought a Snow Joe four years ago. I live in central Maine and we get a great deal of snow. My driveway accomodates 8 cars - so you can imagine the area I snow blow. This is electric - so yes, you have the slight aggravation of an extension cord. But as someone whose back will not allow pulling on a starter cord, simply plugging in is the way to go. My neighbors all have large gas blowers, but my Snow Joe performs as well. I DO NOT force it along. When the snow is about 6" deep I head outside. Since this is not a self-propelled machine, I find it easiest to start at 6" of depth and repeat several hours later as needed. Also, when the snow plows go by and there is a large bank to move, I go out after the plow passes and do not wait for that compacted slushy mess to turn to ice. I will caution first time users - this really throws snow! The first time I used it I was concentrating on straight lines and only when I finished did I realize I had shot snow all over the length of my neighbor's house - covering windows! Oops! The swivel to adjust direction and angle of snow chute is EASY to use. I would recommend that in deeper or heavier snow, use overlapping rows to make the going easier. I loaned out my 4 year old Snow Joe to a neighbor this year and he ran through gravel - and that was too much. The gravel wedged and stripped something. I did not hesitate to go on-line and order another Snow Joe. However, I won't loan it out again! My 88 year old mother has one (she uses it to clear walkways around the yard for her dog), her 60-ish neighbor has one, and I have one (I'm 58 with a bad back). I love it. It is light weight and I simply pick it up to move it in the garage. The easy grip knobs on the handles DO REQUIRE TIGHTENING periodically. So, just give them a twist each time you head out. I recommend this to anyone who simply does not want to wrestle with a big gas blower - the weight, the noise, fumes, going to get gas, tune-ups! Enjoy winter again!
