Very light and strong.I paired with the Okuma trio-S and 10lbs braided Power-pro and now I have a perfect pair.Casting is long and accurate.I used this for fresh and saltwater.I've had no problem fighting 10lbs redfish with this rod.

skeetreese rod go's down!
Posted 07/07/2012
ok well i love fishing i take care of my fishing poles i own 10 and it so happens a couple months ago i bought a skeetreese rod and it was 90 some thing bucks after tax and i got it went home and ive only used it 3 times today i used it for the 4th time and was using a watermelonred sinko got stuck in weeds pulled it with my pole and 2 seconds later my pole is in to peices and my friend also bought one and his broke to they say there covered in 3 layers with graphite and stuff but its all fake the skeetreese pole is not worth your money unless you dont care if your poles brake the warranty is no good they make you pay 30 bucks for a new one and it'll brake again so my review is to not buy a skeetreese rod.
