Stack-On Stack-On GCWB-10-5-DS Sentinel 10 Gun Security Cabinet
The Sentinel 10 Gun Security Cabinet holds 10 rifles or shotguns up to 52" tall. A steel top shelf provides additional storage or can be removed for more space. The shelf is positioned in the back of the cabinet so longer guns can be stored in the front of the cabinet. The Sentinel 10 Gun Security Cabinet features a foam padded bottom and barrel rests to reduce the chance of scratches. A three-point locking system with a key coded, double-bitted lock provides greater security for your firearms. This cabinet has a black epoxy paint finish with gold accents on the cabinet door.

It came when I expected with no blemishes or dents.
The cabinet is solid and the locking mechanism works smoothly.
My children know not to touch any firearm, but this will insure that.
Bolted to the wall, it is not going anywhere.
I didn't buy it as a safe, just a locking cabinet.
The only thing that could be improved upon is the gun separators should be made with higher density foam

I was skeptical about purchasing a gun safe from walmart. after reviewing many different safes online, this one fit the price. It did take the full allowable time for site to store shipping. overall i was pleased. the safe is very durable and very easy to install the inner shelf. I also like the fact that the keys arent small and cheaply made. very satisfied.

I was worried the cabinet would be to flimsy but it surprised me. For the money it is a good value. However if you need a cabinet you know someone can't pry open with a crowbar, you should consider a more secure heavy duty gun case with bolt locks and substantially heavier.

Wrong key

I received the gun safe with the wrong key for the lock. Customer service was helpful but didn't want to replace the safe. They originally wanted to send me a new lock. Which would be ok if I were able to get the door open to change the lock. They suggested I drill the old lock out. I told them I shouldn't have to play locksmith for a new gun safe. Eventually they sent me another one. I am happy with the safe otherwise.

It is not a "heavy" duty metal cabinet but sufficient to do the job. It is a metal, locking cabinet intended to keep your weapons safely away from children, NOT a full-blown gun "safe". One person can easily carry or move it. It does have predrilled holes for securing it to the floor or wall and comes with mounting bolts.
My only complaint is the interior is also black so it is extremely dark inside making it difficult to see what you're looking for. I spray painted the inside white and it works much better, I can see what I need to find without additional lighting or fumbling around in the dark.
A good value for the money.
It was delivered FedEx and fairly quickly.

How are you going to sell product without a key. The gun case is lock and they want me to look on the inside to get the key number.. How am I going to do that IT'S LOCK. Taking it back to Walmart to get a refund.. Should have listen to reviews.. Would not recommend this gun cabinet.

In an earlier review it was said that this cabinet would "only keep honest people out". This is true but I didn't purchase this to be a fire safe or a professional theft deterrent. This is to keep my "things" locked up and out of the hands of children or wandering guests. That said, it's an excellent cabinet for the money! It is a tight fit though and would be hard to imagine getting many rifles in without scopes and accessories removed. However, for the money and peace of mind, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I am really happy with my Stack On Sentinel Gun cabinet. It came almost totally assembled, save for a shelf and the foam pieces. Completing assembly took less than 10 minutes. It is nicely finished, and looks good, especially for $100. I was going to put a sticker or two on the outside of it but decided not to because it is too nice looking. I only have a shotgun and a pistol, and it fit those fine, with room for a lot more, but the 5 or so barrel rests on the back wall can't accomodate something really long because of the shelf. I put a few 3m hooks on the back wall to hang my hearing protection and now it is perfectly set up for what I need.

This locking cabinet is exactly as expected, though of even heavier construction than I expected. I had it shipped to store and though it was a bit of a challenge, got it stowed in my Scion tC for transport home. The fit and finish is excellent and the door locks at 3 points. It includes lag screws for attaching to a wood surface. If you are going to anchor to dry wall, you should get the heavy (50 lbs. at least) capacity hollow wall anchors. I have mine loaded with ammo and a few other items, so I am not using the rifle separating foam. As other reviewers have commented, the foam is a bit of a cheesy feature, but it does look like it would work as long as one is careful placing the guns. This is not a "real, fireproof" safe, but as I have it weighed down with ammo, it would be tough to haul off! I am not sure about the claimed capacity (gun-wise that is, the dimensions are correct), but it works great for my intended use.

Product arrived in perfect condition. There is no excuse to not have your firearms lockers away from your children with this inexpensive locker avaliable. Be a responsible gun owner and keep your stuff locked away. Mine is bolted to my floor so atleast a criminal would have to take the time to break into it right here.
