I love this scale! I don't know what the bad ratings are for. You put the scale on a hard and level surface and keep your feet widely spaced apart and it works perfectly every time. It gives me an accurate reading every time I step on it and never variates. I am on a diet where I have to weigh every morning and I have never had a problem with this scale fluctuating, not even once. I tried a couple different scales and took them back they were so awful, but this one is a gem. The only problem I have ever had is my first one stopped working after about a year so I gave it less stars for durability. But as far as I am concerned you won't find a better scale for that price.

Right out of the box the scale didnt work. I stepped on it and it said i weighed 45lbs. The 2 minutes later stepped on it and said i weighed 85lbs. I know for a fact i am over 100lbs. THis scale is very unreliable and i would not recommend it to anyone.

Don't waste your money

This was my 1st time buying a digital scale, I was so excited because I am starting my weight loss journey and thought that having a digital scale will give me an accurate daily weight loss reading, right down to the ounces. That did not happen w/this scale. It gives me a different weight each time I step on it(back to back), so I really have no clue how much weight I have lost. The day I bought it I wanted to take it back because it was glass, I didn't pay attention to that detail but I lost the receipt so I kept it. I figured I paid $30+ for it, it looks nice it should be a great scale. FAIL. Now I wish I would have taken it back. Now I am online and will get the dial scale from Health-o-meter this one has 5 stars & claims to be professional quality & it's $21-hopefully this is the one, I will sure write a review on that scale once I receive it.

My wife and I needed a reliable scale to track her weight loss journey.
We tried several before we found this one.
It is stable and reliable. It tracks our weight, our bmi and tells us if we lost , gained or remain stable.
I would recommend this to anyone.
It is nice to know I can count on this to be accurate.
