It was smaller than I expected. I've had it for a few days and the first time I took it outside the wind blew the table with the umbrella over. When I picked the table and the umbrella, the wind had bent the umbrella so now it won't close.

I bought this item for my 2 years old. She loves it especially the umbrella! She loves identify colors & shapes. Very sturdy seems like. Super easy to put together & great color combination too. So glad I bought it just in time for some nice sunny weather.

We bought this set for our grandson. Wanted to get him the Fisher-Price set our children had (circa 1990), but it is no longer made. Did lots of research and read lots of reviews this set came out on top. It is well made, easy to assemble and sturdy enough for toddler's play.
An assembly tip: As others have pointed out, the top attaches to the table legs with 8 screws (provided). There are indentations molded in the plastic where the screws go, but the holes are not started. The directions suggest using a screwdriver to start the holes and drive the screws. I had much better results using a cordless drill with a phillips bit. Use light pressure and slow speed; the screw will turn for a second or two until it bites into the plastic, then quickly drills the rest of the way home. Do not overtighten or the plastic will strip.

The set is cute and I really liked that it came with 4 chairs and not two. The only thing I would change is the umbrella. I would want it a bit bigger and a little higher. It is great for boys and girls.

My granddaughter loved loved loved her lil table and chairs. As soon as she saw it she immediately sat down with no problem (2 yrs old) and then got up and sat her barbie dolls on every chair.

I bought the Step 2 Deluxe Play and Shade Kids Patio Set for my 19 month-old grandson for Christmas. It is a well-made product. Being a typical rough and tumble little boy, this set is getting a good workout. Since it is winter, it is being used indoors. It is very practical for him to sit at to draw on or to have a snack. I bought this for my niece 1st birthday. Her feet hung as she sat in the chair, but she loved it. It was a big hit!! Her parents thought it was the greatest. And the best part, she will have it for years and years. The umbrella is awesom! It is large enough to cover the entire table...no child will be left in the sun. All the other parents at the party loved it as well. The table is large enough for a 6 year old to sit comfortably..I know because one was there. Can't go wrong with this set!! Much nicer than the traditional bench.
