Just getting back to Hunting after 12 years, things have changed a lot since my last experience with my Compound Bow. I got my Wildcat C5 and found that it is heavy around 10.2 pounds hence the 4 stars. They have a crank that will help with some of us old folks that you can get for this. It Helps and easy to use once you get installed at a local Archery store. Make sure you have plenty of bolts and be very careful where you shoot. I got the lighted scope on mine with three dots. Had difficulty at first losing Bolts $. The archery store hooked me up and shooting groups that are just crazy straight at 20 yards. It's loud for sure but I was told there wasn't really to much of a need to worry about Jumping the string because its there on target before they can react to the noise. Also get a Large target better to have the bolts there than in the ground that you will never find.

I ordered this crossbow after seeing a lot of good things being said about Barnett crossbows on the crossbow nation forum. I ordered the Wildcat instead of the Jackal since you cannot attach a crank to the jackal. This crossbow shots great. It's loud, but then again all crossbows are noisy. I should also point out that the item description says that this crossbow comes with a red dot, but mine came with an actual scope. I don't know if that was a mistake or not, but I'll take it.
My only problem with this order is that Walmart took forever to get it to me. I think I waited about 2 weeks before it got here.

This was my first crossbow. I have a compound bow as well and both are new to me. Within a couple of days I had it sighted in. I was dead on a target less then 3 inches in diameter out to 40 yards no problem. I think I could have easily gone out to to 50-60 but didn't have the time to practice that day. I think it is a good buy and am looking forward to using it to hunt with this year. If I had it to do over I might get another Barnett product which is a bit lighter, but this is still a great buy in my mind. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is that it is a tad heavy and nothing is "perfect".
