The Bissell Momentum 82G71Upright Vacuum Cleaner can be used to clean carpets, bare floors, upholstery, stairs and low pile carpets. It offers powerful suction through its cyclonic cleaning technology. When combined with the unique DirtLifter brush system, the mechanism gives you superior cleaning with cleaner filters. Most of the dirt collected stays in the dirt container rather than accumulating in the filter. This way, filters remain clean for long, increasing the overall performance considerably. Additional features associated with the bagless cyclonic vacuum are dual edge cleaning, easy to empty dirt container, extension wand, headlight, carry handle, and soft bumper. Combination dusting brushes, crevice tools, upholstery tools and turbo brushes are included with the package.

This is the second one of these vacuums that I have purchased in the last 2 years. I love how it cleans. My boys have the downstairs to themselves and kept "borrowing" this one from the upstairs. So I finally bought this new one for me for the upstairs, and my boys have the 2 year old one downstairs! We have a spinger spaniel that sheds ALOT and it sucks all the fur up.

This is my second Bissell Momentum Vacuum. I had the first one for three years and it broke due to my negligance; I left it outside in the rain...It has a Hepa filter and the suction is awesome. It picks up dirt and dust that cannot be seen. Great purchase and great price.

This item was easy to purchase, arrived right on time, and looked exactly as described. The only issue was the cord clip was broken. I called customer service but was on hold too long, so I called Wal-Mart and they offered to return it for me. I am not sure if I will be ordering online considering it was damaged upon arrival.

This is a good vacuum for the money. however, the canister releases dust when you open to empty. I really like the turbo brush attachment. It works great on my furniture. It even picks up all the turf fibers that my teenage athletes deposit on my couch and chairs. The filters need to be checked and cleaned often. The Hepa filter on the side is not washable and will need to be replaced occasionally. Check to make sure your store keeps them in stock. This is a plastic vacuum. you probably should purchase the extended warranty.

Love it!! It's a light vacuum that is easy to maneuver. Does a great job picking up dog hair, which is a must at my house! The attachments work great, and I specifically like the indicator that lets you know if you have a clog, the filter needs cleaned ect.

It was not available in local stores, so I purchased it online for home delivery. It arrived in 2 days.
Easy to assemble. Lighter and quieter (less irritating motor noise) than my previous Dirt Devil.
Very effective in sucking up dirt and cat hair. The first 3 uses produced a shocking amount of stuff in the dirt container, tapering off in quantity now. I recommend emptying the container, rinsing it out and wipe it dry after each use. It only takes a few minutes. Rinse out the foam pre motor filter if it looks dusty, wrap it in wadded paper towels and squeeze to blot out the water, finish drying by placing in front of your hot air vent if you have hot air heat. I plan on keeping it long term and I will buy a few spare belts and filters. A spare foam filter will allow you to put in the clean dry spare and let the freshly cleaned one dry.
www.bissell.com has parts prices as good as any other source and shipping is free on orders over $30.

The worst vaccum I have ever owned. Let me start by saying that I ordered it online to be sent to the store. It took 3 weeks. After I got it, I put it together and away I went. It cleaned pretty good the first 2 or 3 times. Then one day I turned it on and it was extremely loud. I adjusted for the carpet and cleaned the filters regularly, however it began to kick out dust everywhere. And like others said it was always dirty, I had to wipe it down as soon as I was done vaccuming. Then about 2 months of that, and it burned up. Yep, wouldn't do anything when you turned it on, just smelt really really bad. I called Bissel and they walked me through many steps to make sure I wasn't lying and decided to send me a replacement. THis only took about 2 weeks. I was happy to get a new vaccum. However, this one has done the same thing. It did the whole getting louder and stuff, but one day just up and quit. And has not started since. This is all in less then a year of first deciding to purchase this machine. Never again. Please pay attention to the negative reviews, otherwise, you may end up in my situation... vaccum less. I previously had a dyson and loved it. I guess you get what you pay for.

Good value for the dollar. Easy to assemble. Product was as described and arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Vacuum is a little top heavy and tends to tip over easily. Suction is good if evidenced by the amount of dirt in the dirt cup. A little noisier than I would prefer..but not a deal breaker.

I highly recommend that you shop around before you buy this vacuum this is a horrible vacum the cord on the vacuum is short the vacuum is covered with dust constantly you're having to wipe off the outer shell of the vacuum. I use the vacuum daily and I thought I was getting a good buy because of the combo with stick vacuum. The stick vacuum was the only positive thing I can say about this purchase

My vacuum broke after 12 years and we decided not to get the belt fixed. I researched the Bissell Momentum and saw that it had very good reviews. Once we recieved it, we were amazed how much my old vacuum cleaner was leaving behind. I'm thrilled with this vacuum. It was a great buy. The price was right and the product is well worth it.
