the safe is built ok. you could tell that the safe can be broke open with a butter knife but what do you expect for 10 bucks its 12 online but 10 in the store i use it because i needed somewhere to store my cash and i could not afford nothing alot of money

I wanted to get a decent sized safe that was fire proof however at the time I needed it I couldn't afford much so I settled for this..it was pretty much because I had roommates & wanted to keep my personal belongings safe & it served its purpose..the plastic tray broke where the lock fits in but that that didn't stop it from locking & it didn't bother me because I didn't use the tray anyway..safe looks cheap & that it can be broken easily but you get what you pay for so you can't expect much for $12, like I said, it served its purpose

Okay but not perfect

I needed a new cash box for the craft/art shows I attend and this is the one I decided on. I am able to fit a small notebook, a couple pens and envelopes in the bottom without any trouble which is nice. The only thing is that I wish the tray was able to better hold bills. I usually end up with a lot of one-dollar bills and I don't see this thing containing them nicely. The other downside I see is that it has to be locked in order to carry it by the handle, which is kind of annoying. Other than that I think it will serve my purposes nicely.
