No Image Enhancement Features

This printer is a good printer, copier, and scanner for the price. I wanted features to enhance the scanned image. The only enhancements are "brightness" and "contrast". I called HP to find out how to load the enhancement software but was told that the printer did not have that capability based on the fact that it was an inexpensive model.

The printer
I have owned many printers but this printer has issues. Where do I start.
It took good 45 minutes just to install. After installing it, it simply would not print.
It took 2 hours just to print the test page.

This all-in-one printer is a good printer for the price. When i did the search from Walmart.com i put in wireless all-in-one printer is the search bar. This is one of the first printers that came up. It is my fault that it doesn't meet the original criteria that i needed. Walmart need to fix their search string to bring up relevant products.

Price is right! Works great for my normal printing needs. Very easy to set up. I was a little concerned because of a different model HP printer I had previously was always telling me to re-install the software. No problems with this one.
I definitely recommend this model. The price and ease of set-up rate 4 stars.

Hi
I've had earlier HP 3 in 1s and they performed well. However, I just returned this one solely because of the uneven print output margins.

I could not get it to not clip off characters or images even when I published to PDF and selected fit to page. Too much waste of time and money for this printer.
The last straw was today when I went to print an online coupon and was given the option to print in black and white.... the HP printer did not respect that and printed the coupon in color, a waste of color inks.
PS I've been doing desktop publishing with output to various brands and types of printers for over 15 years and this printer was the worse I have experienced.
I returned it and purchased a Canon instead.
Hope this is helpful to those who require balanced margins and print output nicely centered on the printed page to reflect the page on the screen or in the PDF file.

Maybe I just got a bad printer....this is the worst printer I have ever owned. It constantly just won't print and tells me the paper tray needs to be filled. When it does print, the quality is nice. No complaints there. But it just never wants to cooperate for me.

This printer is much better than the Kodak printer that I just replaced. The colors are so vivid compared to the other printer! Excellent quality, easy set up, easy to use. I only print things maybe once a week. So it works great for me. The price was nice too.

I got this printer because I LOVE HP products and it was cost efficient. Unfortunately, HP missed the target with this printer. It is a piece of GARBAGE! First of all, you NEED a USB cord, it DOES NOT come with one and the cheapest one sold at my local Wal-Mart was $15.99. Set up was easy, I got it up and running within a matter of minutes, I scanned 9 photos, tried to scan my 10th and was informed that the HP 2050 scanner was not connected to my computer. WHAT THE WHAT?! I troubleshot every possible issue it could be with my computer, firewalls, etc. to no end! I unistalled and re-installed the printer, I exchanged my USB cord for a new one thinking there was a glitch in the cord...nope! When I researched this product further online, I found out that several people had the same exact issue with this printer. If you buy this, beware, Wal-Mart only allows 15 days for the return of printers. I am taking mine back today and planning on trying out the next model up, a bit more pricey, but hopefully the machine will operate accordingly.
